Fouling someone who is dribbling out the clock up 10 points with 15 seconds left is not comparable to trying to get on base in the 9th inning with no outs.

This is not true. The losing team in basketball is always allowed to keep trying super hard, sometimes hilariously so because they are so terrible or losing so badly. It’s only when the winning team keeps dunking and taking advantage of easy baskets against the press or whatever that there is outrage.

That video does not support your argument.
