I'm not sure if others had this same experience, but going back through on Master Mode has generally not been as fun imo. It kind of takes stealth out as a viable play strategy, at least at the beginning, and forces you to be really aggressive- maybe fun for some in some games, but it took me out of the game

It was weirdly noticeable they didn’t get Danny DeVito (or a DeVito-alike) to voice Phil. He literally never shuts up and he was bone silent in Herc’s missions

Nah. Bad take. These things matter, it's just nice to see someone making a representative cast and not making a big deal about patting themselves on the back about it. But representation is for sure important.

It’s refreshing that the diversity is just “there” without any pomp and circumstance around it. Plus all of the designs are pretty cool!

As a longtime fan whose played every game in the series, I feel what you’re saying on “adding new rules” vs telling a deep story. KH3 so far has done a good job of looping every complicated epicycle they’ve added thus far into the main plot, but it’s for sure been pushed far beyond the core story. The way they’ve

Starlink is definitely my “OK/Fine” game. I like flying around the planets, picking up stuff, building up a base or two like sandcastles. Is it a must-play, 5-star, recommend? Nah, it’s aight tho

I heard "Switch Fortnite players work harder for kills and are therefore objectively better"

Has this happened this gen? I honestly can’t think of a time when the Switch has had a lull in sales because there wasn’t a major game out.

Yeah speaking as a KH fan who’s played at least some of *every* game in the series (side-eyeing the current mobile one) there’s literally nothing that could be said about KHIII that would dissuade me from getting it and playing it through to completion. I can’t anticipate it *more*, so even good reviews would just be

Oh wow I just realized the Switch could absolutely do DS and 3DS games with a vertical orientation if they went for an official “Flip Grip” type accessory. Neato

I’m waiting for the thinkpiece/essay contrasting the “Twerk” video with the (Christ, almost 20 years old) “Tip Drill” video. The lack of guys in the video at all (minus that one cameraman) was conspicuous.

Hey man, Legendia had that soundtrack though...

Really hope the dev team changes their mind on a Switch port (and it’s feasible).

Looks a whole lot like Absolver to me

This might be the new “Wii Play” bundle

I loved this game, and am consistently shocked to see people's problems with it. This news crushed me.

My love for Piranha Plant increases proportionately to the tears of every person crying about Banjo and the rest of that Grinch leak.

It’s wild to me that Nintendo has a million-selling RPG franchise. Here’s hoping XCX makes it over as well!

Except for a couple of weird quirks, it does all the Switch things you might expect very well, like allow for casual couch co-op using two Joy-Cons.”

One day I’ll go back and do the optional content for Octopath- but, like you, once I’d completed all eight stories I felt a bit burnt out. Those boss fights for the advanced classes were amazing though, so I’m sure the other optional ones are at least as good.
