Everybody needs to see these photos. The Motorsports room is amazing.

Ninety percent of the human population, give or take, already regards the automobile as an appliance. At best. The Pe…
Top tip, don’t go on a car website in the immediate few hours after a motorsport event you don’t want to the results for.
I agree, but in all fairness two of Vettels championship years were super boring.
The logical solution would have been to just borrow any required parts from a customer’s car. Problem solved.
Let this be a reminder to people, check your tire pressures. This is what just 1.5 PSI difference between them will do!
My GF paid $125 for Sat/Sun parking in (quagmire) Lot L. She’s trying to get a refund from COTA, though doesn’t expect to actually receive one. From what she was seeing on the message boards (she waved off on coming over when I told her what the conditions were like for GA ticketholders, which my guest passes were),…
I’ve been to both many times and I highly recommend Montreal. Our group has decided going forward to skip Austin and just go all out in Montreal with the extra cash.
This is why I like NASCAR races. Your parking location is determined only by how early you show up. Unless you’re camping/VIP/a driver/whatever. You show up to Richmond early enough and you can get free parking on a paved lot maybe 200 feet from the gates. Pure awesomeness.
$150 to park at a race track is insane. I was pissed about paying $10 to park off-premises at Martinsville last weekend. (Which, btw, for Martinsville being one of the best tracks on the NASCAR circuit, they really need to up their parking and traffic management game. The decision-makers at Martinsville need to go to…
Thanks for the reply! Yeah, I was floored up in Canada because if anything I expected it to be a “we look the other way if you bring a few things in.” I’m not saying you could wheel a whole keg in, but the bag checkers didn’t care about a twelve pack.
Yea I parked in Lot Q on Saturday and it wasn’t a bad setup other than it turning into a small river as well (I actually found a couple crawfish wandering the lot). I contemplated doing the “play it stupid” game also, but for whatever reason decided against it.
Looks like 1psi, maybe 1.5?
It may have changed since the first USGP at COTA, but if it’s the same as at LSLM earlier this year, you can bring in sealed bottles of water. Or empty refillable bottles/hydration packs. Brought my HydroFlask on Friday and my Hydrapak on Saturday there, no problem. I remember taking in large sealed liter bottles of…
As we suspected all along. Tire pressure was off.
Hey this isn’t really the time or the place, but I have a quick question for you if you’d be so kind: Can you bring in outside booze for the Formula 1 race? I went to my first ever Formula 1 GP this year in Canada and I was stunned to learn that you could just fill up a backpack full of beer and walk in with it,…
Honoring the Saturday tickets on Sunday was hardly a consolation for people that bought weekend passes. I can totally understand why the didn’t run on Saturday and I don’t really blame them for that qualification delays, but it seems like they could have clued us in a little earlier rather than delaying events by…
Qualie delays were 100% FIA/FOM’s call. They were waiting not for the rain to stop, but for it to let up enough for the medical helo to have flight clearance and the rivers/puddles at 10, 12, 14, 19A, and pit out to drain a bit. Ultimately, the puddles led to the Sunday qualie decision as we would have run out of…
