Yeah, it would appear (from North American Motoring forums, MotoringFile comments, Facebook fan pages, etc) that there is not a lot of love for the new version of MINI amongst the previous gen and earlier owners.
And I think MINI's seeing that (hoping) with their horrible recent sales numbers.

To be fair, it's a little difficult to figure out where the generation changes occur with the Ford Super Duty as well. They keep changing the fenders and fascia but the cab seems to be the same as it was 15 years ago. What constitutes a generation change and what equates to just a refresh?
