Eh, it wasn't really a serious statement to be analyzed, just a sweeping generalization about how GM has changed since the 1980s, but maybe not as much as they get credit for. I think GM is one good earnings report and a couple bad executive decisions away from sliding back to Old GM — cutting corners and…
In the 1980s, Chrysler was eating GM's lunch when it came to the hot new segment of the day, Minivans. GM in its particularly 1980s hubris said they were developing a minivan that was going to blow its ChryslerCo rivals out of the water. That, uh, didn't happen.

I saw one and thought it looked pretty good — it just be THE 3 series.
Wow! Is Barrichello not well-liked in Brazil?
I've always thought that after Mercedes found success 'inventing' a new segment ("four-door coupes") in 2005 with the CLS, the other Germans have been scrambling to replicate that success by being first-to-market with weird, genre-busting variations. So 5-Series Gran Turismo, A5 Sportbacks, you name it — they are…
True, seeing them pushing shitboxes to the max is half of it — but I want to see them beating up on guys in Corvettes in those shitboxes!
exactly!
On the flipside of this coin, I'd love to see an "average" or"mediocre" Formula 1 driver do a track day in something like a Miata or non-AMG C-Class and decimate all. Make a video with someone who always gets ragged on, like Max Chilton, and have them destroy regular people in an average car. Chris Harris, get on this!
