Digital rendering is pretty popular in fashion sketching these days, actually, so this is a combo of a real photo and a digital illustration done on a tablet.

I always feel that way when looking at his collections. All stage presence, no substance.

They're more caricature/artistic exaggeration than anything else, so I don't really understand why people continue to push that they should be exact diagrams of clothing/bodies. In addition, there are tons of different ways to do fashion sketching, I've seen them working as a fitting model and in fashion drawing

So I guess we still haven't figured out that fashion sketches aren't life drawings?

Inflation combined with couture lines being a huge loss for design houses, it's no surprise they decided to double the prices to make up for that. Personally, I get my couture in trade for modeling, but I could never afford a lot of the things I own otherwise.

As a mixed race (and Jewish on top of that) woman with no Greek heritage but a Greek middle name, I can only imagine how "dumb" msqualia would find my name.

True couture really isn't over-inflated though, because true couture is bespoke for the wearer, and is always made entirely by hand (not in a 3rd world country) and uses very expensive fabric and detailing. It's the RTW label that you can find in every designer store that's made in factories in Hong Kong for nickels

Lots of hypotheticals in there, but so much irritation over harmless choices other people make with their lives. What's the point of getting angry? Naming trends happen with every new crop of parents, just don't follow the trend if you're not into it.

Erm, you realize that a lot of people in America have Irish heritage right? Would you think it was more weird/bougie to see a girl name Aisling, which is the traditional Gaelic form of the name? I really don't get being so overly invested in what other people name their kids.

Ashlyn really is not an unusual name, it's Gaelic.

This tumblr is the second best thing in my life today, and second only to the $50 I found lying on the ground.

Oh true, must be my silly lady-brain acting up again!

HAHA. You know, I can imagine that.

Yep, I used to do window displays at the boutique I worked at, and we did this as well, the size you have more of is the one that goes on the mannequin.

What's more embarrassing: the Spongebob shirt or being employed by the Enquirer?

UGH. Recently I had a partner insist he had "never" heard of a woman finding shaving extremely painful. Are you fucking kidding me? Even with shaving cream I get ugly, nasty ingrowns and pulling a razor across my skin down there leaves it feeling raw and stinging. Not to mention accidentally nicking yourself, christ,

You can also have your bank block any future charges from them as fraudulent, by the way! I've successfully done this with my bank in the past (TD, for the record).

This gif is all my feels re: this subject.

Oh man, Gallo. The uncle of my last partner worked for them for decades and he recently passed away. Makes my heart hurt a little.

I'm not seeing how any of these guys are douchebags aside from Zucchelli (who is most definitely a douchebag). They're just typical 20-something dudes.
