Well, I am sick 48 hours before I'm supposed to be on a flight to Las Vegas. I've been getting worse all day, definitely compounded by shooting in the cold today. I've already done soup and OJ and I even slept after I got back from shooting but I'm going downhill. Fingers crossed that I heal in time to enjoy myself!

Also 5'11" and I gave up on pants, I just wear spandex or skirts/dresses anymore. I could never find my inseam my size (0/2), my knees bow inward so the fabric rubbing annoys the shit out of me and on top of all that, I don't want to wear low-rise stuff. Sigh.

What sort of moron would compare this to ballet? I was a dancer for roughly 9-10 years, pointe is not the same as wearing heels. The damage is entirely different. Ballet alone, without pointe, lengthens and strengthens your muscles, whereas exercising in heels will shorten your muscles.

Ha, that is so true. I regularly travel on the Adirondack to Montreal and it is not fun. Long train rides are better when you are traveling with someone and get a sleeper car.
