My partner and I are also Flexis! I used to be a very strict vegetarian for all the usual reasons including being self-righteous and angsty about all those animals I would save. It took me a few years to come to terms with the idea that because my diet is self-imposed, there is no reason why I shouldn't be able to eat

I reacted to this the same way 4 months ago.

People actually use the word grenade to mean something aside from an explosive? Males past the age of 18 watch MTV?! I'm out of touch, I like silver foxes. Must mean I have daddy issues, amirite ladies?

Listen, I'm more interested to know if they 1. found El Dorado and 2. were chased by communists/a giant boulder. These are things I look forward to in my career.

And you can't escape it ANYWHERE. Online, all I see are people bitching about models/girls with "thigh gap"/lack of understanding of posing/light/photoshop and how thin/gross/anorexic they are and blah blah BMI SO ACCURATE NOT AT ALL A NUMERICAL HACK. I sincerely feel for people who are made to feel bad because they

Perhaps! Montreal is currently the hotspot for tech start-ups, which means the rest of the industries will follow (I'm sure the Francophones will be pissed -rightfully so- with a huge influx of Anglophones).

Yeah, I know what I'm getting into with anthropology and a grad degree in archaeology, I would never sit around and complain about how hard it is to get a job. If I wanted a job right out of undergrad, I would have gone into engineering or a hard science field. I just have an affinity for series of small walls.

I think you'll find grad school to be very different and easier, because it's professional training for the field and not boring lectures unrelated to what you actually want to do. Instead of information about a bunch of subjects, you learn HOW to be what you want to be.

I have a lot of friends who did fashion design and even after interning for free while in college, they now intern for free as their actual JOB. Ridiculous.

Referring to a size 8 as "extremely thin" for a tall woman is hyberbolic in that there are many women much thinner than that who are also in the same height range, depending on what you consider to be tall. I don't think a size 8 or a 10 is large at all, really it's like what...5 inches more around each measurement

Ugh, please don't remind me of the 50k in student loans I have to repay. At least my grad school will be paid for upfront and in cash and I'm beating out a 4 year degree in 3 years. My research and data minded brain is grasping for more information though, because neither article really gave me enough data to do a

I swear if one more person does that "EW SHE LOOKS ANOREXIC BONES STICKING OUT ALL OVER IS SOOOOO GROSS" shit, or if one more person uses BMI as a measure of health...STOP.

Excuse, 5'11" size 2 woman, can we stay away from the hyperbolic language please?

Life is really hard out there for dudes who like ladies who like other ladies!

Just like the way dudes treat me when I leave my apartment! Or on the internet! I can't remember the last time I was able to walk to lecture without some man saying something disgusting to me, or the last time I didn't get creepy facebook comments on images fashion photogs post of me from fashion/beauty shoots.

Soooo you like girls who make out with other girls? Wow, that's really original, straight dude.

How did she even become famous?

Hahaha, Jovani reference appreciated, when their dresses are bad they're like...Riva bad.

That is the normal ticket price, I doubt that everyone pays to get in though! I dislike Kate Upton, I really don't think she is that amazing of a model. Also who the heck did those scary brows on her?

Hillary 4 lyfe. But seriously, good on her for doing what makes her feel comfortable. I am slowly getting to the point where I feel comfortable in less make up, my glasses disorient me though so I'm sticking with contacts.
