I work in IT as well, and there are WAY more than you think.

Eh, likely more the case that for the execs, diversity not being the paramount priority just means not bothering to look any farther than the most convenient pool of homogenous-looking folks.

Except in the article posted a few comments above, they even mention how some of the earliest changes were implemented by Ian Fleming himself, so i don’t think it’s completely a case of “he wrote what he wrote, no takebacks and no revisions!”

Damn you.

Yes! Right up there with the Nemesis system from Shadow of Mordor and Geo-Mod from Red Faction.*sigh*

The thing of it is, you’re operating under the assumption that the infrastructure was largely what killed Stadia, and not Google being modern Google and their halfhearted, mealy-mouthed approach to new product categories that did it in.

Not gonna name call on this one, but you can’t seriously try to represent conservatives as a whole and then contrast that with individual people on the other side...at least not genuinely.

This is one of the aspects of their coke/pepsi dichotomy i’m curious about on the streaming performance side of things. MS is able to leverage all the efforts they’ve made to develop cloud infrastructure with Azure and optimize CDN/datacenter locations to try to provide a decent game streaming experience.....whereas

Not sure if you realize this, but plenty of games that are currently esports ALREADY have assists of various types in the game...and yet, somehow all of esports continues, unruined!

I mean, but to be fair, i’m sure there were commenters saying the same thing about the price of gold being higher 3 years later back in 2010 too, and it’s been the same price for the last decade.

If we’re talking console, then in a lot of (most? all?) cases a physical game still has to take up the same space on the hdd, as current consoles basically copy the entire game to run from the hard drive rather than playing from disc, so there’s not really an advantage there per se - although you do have the advantage

But if the question isn’t whether or not you have the world’s greatest lemonade, but whether you’ll be able to compete, be successful, and broaden the lemonade market, then selling all 50 cups in an hour seems like it would be a good indicator that there is demand for *your* brand of lemonade.

...wut?

Lack of nipples, and it not being on TV (where the pearl-clutchers can easily complain to the FCC) probably helped a lot with the difference in reaction also.

Clearly Sinemia did me a favor by ending my membership a couple months ago.

I think you may underestimate just how many people will run something like that as background noise, even with it being decades past its prime.

Wow.  They just continue to find new and imaginative ways to one-up their own shittiness.

It’s always interesting how THIS often seems to be the nature of the response when it comes to matters of race.

I wonder if Treme is a nickname for the city, or just a specific neighborhood in NOLA?
