Well, since Bernie has no hope of winning the nomination, his “supporters” being godawful racists and sexists all over the place is at least accelerating his exit. So maybe he’ll get a nice early retirement from Presidential politics and can just endorse Warren. 

I’ve known plenty of Sanders supporters who are still saying Hillary Clinton was as bad as (or worse than!) Trump. Not all of them men either.

I do think like in 2016 this is going to hurt Sanders, even though he’s clearly opposed to this sort of idiocy. Perceptions, fair or unfair, are powerful.
