Purple Mountains has quickly become my album of the year. It’s so good.

Considering the cast, I thought they’d be able to pull off a respectable, updated remake. But yikes, these clips I’ve seen look awful.

Yeah, I think it’s pretty obvious that they’re playing around with “bitches be crazy and don’t know what they’re talking about” tropes of the 80s and poking fun at it. 

Shazam was ok. Anytime the completely one-note villain showed up on screen I completely lost interest, though.

Worth it for The Mollusk alone

Can we assume the Night King somehow knew Bran was destined for the throne, which is why he focused primarily on him?

Meghan McCain is awful, but I’m also not a fan of how people seem to rush to Omar’s defense every time she says something troubling, making excuses that she’s new, she’s just not good at social media, she didn’t know this is was bad, etc. I was willing to give her the benefit of doubt but this past weekend with Israel…

I’m thinking Danearys goes mad, then realizes what she’s become and ends up sacrificing herself for Jon some way when she accepts he should be on the throne.

Really liking the SASAMI album. Kinda reminds me of Broadcast at times.

I’m looking forward to see how AEW does, but they have just as much potential to land on their faces as they do succeeding. Hopefully it isn’t just the Cody, Omega and Bucks show and they make some new stars. Competition for WWE is much needed, though, and it seems like they’ve already been shaking things up a bit…

Now that Roman is back, I can see how they might want one last Shield fist bump to close the show after Rollins beats Brock, although the women deserve the headlining spot this year more.

Agree with you totally about STBY and Incredibles 2. STBY is probably my favorite movie this year, and I thought Incredibles was pretty blah.

Leaving out Sleep from best metal albums and SOPHIE from best electronic is super weird. Was expecting to see them here since they were ignored on those lists.

It’s been mostly ignored but my album of the year is still Tropical Fuck Storm - A Laughing Death in Meatspace.

Pretty good list, although it’s missing JPEGMAFIA and I will never understand the love for Cardi B. She sounds like literal vomit to my ears.

High Maintenance should definitely be on here. 2nd season was great!
