Final season is airing in January, I think.

The Good Place takes a few episodes to get really good, and it’s not really until the first season finale that it goes to the next level.

Nine Inch Nails. My 6th time seeing them and this was probably the 2nd best I’ve seen them (1st was during their goodbye tour). Hot Snakes was a ton of fun, John Reis might be the coolest motherfucker on the planet. Seeing Ween next week so that will likely be up there as well.

I love Built to Spill and they were one of my favorite live bands that I would go see every time they were in town, but now as a trio they are depressingly boring. The shows are not the same without Brett and Jim.

I thought so, too. Looked liked Amy Poehler with a nose ring.

Some weird nominations here. I haven’t seen them but are Vice and The Favourite actually comedies?

Glad I’m not the only one who thinks this. It’s grown a lot on me recently and I mostly enjoy the music, but I found a lot of the lyrics really cringey with the weird references and shit. I listened to Brutalism afterwards and enjoyed that much more.

I listened to that 1975 album because it was getting ridiculously hyped as the OK Computer of this generation, and it’s hilariously awful. Just the song titles make me cringe. The only comparison to OK Computer is there’s a song that totally rips off “Fitter Happier”

Her being out of place was the point, though, wasn’t it?

There should be some mention in one of these articles about the rise of WWE(F)’s Attitude Era. Pro wrestling became HUGE and actually a cool thing for people to admit to watching, and guys like Stone Cold and The Rock became household names while everyone in school was doing crotch chops and telling people to suck it.

I wasn’t a big fan of that either. Why wouldn’t he just wait till he gets home and flush the pills down the toilet? It’s not like someone was about to search his pockets.

Definitely Ween

Marc Maron deserved a nom as well

Nope, most wrestling fans are actually liberal these days

Eh, it’s arguably their worst.

764-Hero were great

Their first 2 or 3 albums are pretty great. I kinda fell off after that and was gobsmacked when I heard that popular song of theirs and found out that was them. I think it’s pretty funny they have an official “I liked Portugal. The Man before they sold out” t-shirt

What about Godspeed You! Black Emperor

Had to double check the list to see that Annihilation isn’t up there, which is surprising. My favorite so far this year as well.

I don’t understand the love for A Quiet Place. It was a cool concept and there were some tense moments, but I just found it really hard to suspend disbelief for most of it, with the characters being such idiots. The more I think about it, the more the plot seems to fall apart and I kinda hate the movie.
