Hey, at least we know they have all three parts of the story mapped out, which is an absolute step up from the sequel trilogy.

Thank you! There have been so many Blazers at this point, to say one is more legitimate than the other is a losing battle. GM isnt trying to sell you a K5, but they are selling you a Blazer or two... they’re not the same, and they aren’t trying to be.
This, right here! Though I don’t drive semi/trailer trucks I do have a lot of friends that do. They are always complaining about idiots cutting them off last second, dealing with road raging idiots who think break checking a semi is a bright idea. Word to the wise, it isn’t!
As much as we want to put the blame on…
It’s nice to cite trucks as the reason for the increase but I have to believe the increase of idiots in cars is as much of a contributing factor as the trucks themselves are.
Maybe I’m missing something, but the article discussed *trails* being closed.
How do the kids have access to the vehicle if they don’t have keys?
This is BLM land. It’s not a wildlife sanctuary. Land under the auspices of the Bureau of Land management is supposed to be managed taking account the requirements of all users.
Problem is the EPA is also to blame about trucks getting so big. It penalises trucks with a smaller footprint. So if sold today a small truck like an 88 Datsun 1200 would be needing to hit 47 MPG while a truck the size of a 22 Ford Maverick only needs 37 MPG.
To me, it depends on how you look at it. In ‘21 buying a vehicle in cash was actually probably a terrible decision from a purely financial standpoint. Rates were at or near zero (lending rates) and are now at 5% (earned interest rates), that is a lot of opportunity cost.
Some guy at the gym: “Hey, anyone in here have a Tesla? It’s raining outside and your windows are down.”
“You don’t need gap insurance.” Ask me how I found out that yes, you do.
Wall Street wrongly thinks Tesla is a tech company instead of a car company, so it’s stock gets put in the “Revolutionary technology company - High value” bucket instead of the “Automobile manufacturing company - Medium value” bucket.
“Only pay cash”.
Any advice that begins with the word never. I’m particularly thinking about “never buy new”, or “never lease a car”. It’s true that buying new or leasing don’t usually make the most financial sense, but not everything in life is a dollars and cents decision. It’s up to an individual to understand their own financial…
Wow, this is the first account I’ve seen of someone who bought a new Daewoo back then and got stiffed on the warranty. Not one of GM’s finer moments, since it wouldn’t have been very difficult to honor warranty service on what was basically a GM Opel under the skin.
it’s easy to put too much blinker fluid in
2015 Tesla S. I really wanted to love that thing, but the constant repair issues ruined it for me.
You’d think that, but when Maine implemented some pretty drastic conditions around buying and selling scrap metal, thefts plunged. Maine, having more summer-only homes than anywhere else in the nation, had a HUGE problem with copper theft long before catalytic converter theft became a thing. But the same restrictions…
I wear full gear on my motorcycle when I ride, so yeah I’m sweaty after a bit. Red lights on the route make the problem worse. To combat this, I don’t ride during the summer.
gotcha, Yeah if you read back I was referring to a 2019 model I was looking at. Nice bike rack by the way!
