you mean the kid who ran the red light?

Define Pedestrian. These days in SoCal with the rise of eBikes as an alternate form of transport to automobiles there is a rise in cyclists so having more surface streets vs Freeways is better for cyclists.

Your definition of bad infrastructure is different from mine. If El Camino Real was smaller it would be bad infrastructure - as it stands now it is a good size for the communities it serves.

El Camino Real does get busy during the rush hours - but it is not gridlocked.

More dangerous than the freeway that existed before?

I live in San Diego County - that is why I gave an example of a road I travel all the time.

I have been keeping an eye on the used truck market via continuous Auto Trader searches for the different truck models I am interested in.

7 lanes total, not 7 lanes per side right?

I was referring to the 2007 Colorado SR1 I owned - it is nothing like the ZR2 which was not offered back in 2007.

And if you were sitting on an eBike using the throttle with no pedaling input you honestly think you would get as sweaty as you would when exerting energy walking?

From what I understand it is only the first step - and it is an easy one to do en mass all over the city in a short amount of time. In some parts of Carlsbad they have recently installed raised Crosswalks with full flashing lights and improved signage to help make crossing pedestrians more visible.

It was the ZR1 not the ZR2 - totally different packages.

So you are saying that motorcyclists arrive at work dripping sweat?

Thank you for backing up my point.

My Colorado was a ZR1 - so it sat higher and had off road tires - but was not an off road truck.

I had a 2007 Colorado with the i5 and that was an incredible motor - tons of power for what it was and very smooth. I traded it in on the Silverado because I wanted a full size truck with 4x4 (Colorado was 2wd) and the Colorado had a weird electrical thing with the security system.

I would say I am Biased as well since I own a 2007 Silverado with 203k miles on it and a 2012 Suburban with 169k miles on it. There are always going to be pro’s and con’s between the 2 brands. As a teen I would get into pointless Arguments with my friends about ford vs GM but grew out of that to learn and know they

My rich uncle had a Typhoon back when they were new.

Some communities are doing more to improve cycling infrastructure. Carlsbad, CA called a state of emergency last year after some people both young and older were either severely injured or died in collisions with automobiles.
