with an e-Bike you can run full boost during the summer and not have to pedal at all. The only sweat would be from sitting out doors in a 20mph breeze as you scoot along.

The F150 is great - but I think it stands side by side with the Full Size trucks from GM - most sales per year is a technicality as the Chevy/GMC Twins have out sold ford for most of their life span.
The First Gen FX45 is still one of the best looking SUV’s on the road - timeless lines and Design.
Yeah something like that for sure.
This is a good start - hopefully more manufactures follow suit - but I have a sneaky feeling someone is going to still find a way to flip one of these cars.
Are these the same dealers marking up limited edition models tens of thousands of dollars for pure Profit gains?
If I could town my 28foot travel trailer and hold a dirt bike and quad in the bed while doing that - and go up and over mountain passes between the San Diego Beaches and the inland Deserts.... This would tick all my boxes.
“Risky Driving Behavior”
I would love to have an EV - but the cost of electricity and the up front cost to buy one means it is not economical for me.
Your example is the perfect one that covers the conundrum most buyers are facing. The “fuel” savings does not cover the spread in up front cost.
The TCO of the EV is not lower for the average buyer who only keeps a car 3-4 years.
You are right, some people do not care about the TCO - but there are plenty who do. The higher up front cost of an EV and even some Hybrids compared to the up front cost of an equivalent ICE vehicle is still very high. In some cases it will take more than 100,000 miles of driving an ICE vehicle before the cost of gas…
Until the TCO of an EV is below that of an equivalent ICE - adoption is going to stall for the masses.
A GMC Safari is a MiniVan.
I would correct them if they said that to me as they walked over to their - not a truck.
I have been saying that since it came out. The beltline on it and the stance/ground clearance clearly define it as a Hatchback Sedan. It is the same shape as a Golf - just slightly bigger.
In the Case of the Ionic5 I think they would sell just find being called anything. They happen to be one of the best looking vehicles on sale right now and would be my choice if I was looking for a smaller than my Suburban 5 door hatchback Sedan.
Yep and it drives me up the wall that anyone calls the Ionic5 an SUV, it is just a big Hatchback.
I know what the point of the story was, just pointing out there is a better story there they should be pursuing.
