I pissed off a scalie once by making that mistake. In the 21st century, you need to be ready for when, after 18 years of blood, sweat, and tears, your child sits you down to tell you cle sexually identifies as an anime rain cloud, because recognizing clim as cloudkin then and there (and NOT dismissing clim by

Lol, just went through that two weeks ago. Game holds up great, and it was going well until I realized I forgot how to do the level with the three turrets lined up behind glass with the button in front of them where you need to drop the goop on the turrets. It uhhh, was a pretty solid lesson in persistence, at least.

It’s the worst-looking of their (mainline) PS1 releases, and still a marvel of art & design hacks. It’s amazed me how much more some people can do with limited resources vs others — there’s a huge gap, with just about every “best-looking game” looking multiples better than the “worst-looking game” 2-4 generations

Is there a general PS4 vs. XBONE preference in Windows emulator community? I’ve been using an old 2.4GHz Logitech DualShock for a while, now... the range issues have been more of an annoyance since moving, so wouldn’t mind an upgrade. Do either have a physical X/D toggle?

2015 had some very questionable DLC toward the end (scrapyard one in particular had some head-scratching design choices). Was an impressive commercial success for such an unknown, though, so kind of confused why company is behaving this way. The weird DLC suggests they may be cash-strapped, maybe self-financed

It’s far superior to SimCity 4 (the last SimCity release I’m aware of besides the weird online-required one sponsored by oil companies or w/e it was) in basically every way. There’s less micro but more options, and a relatively fantastic graphics engine, with care to detail design-side.

Extended Wait DLC available now!

It’s game-specific, but most games do okay-ish on my aged 270 paired w/ 6600k. RPCS3 team has made some pretty impressive progress tearing through their compatibility list the past few months. ETA: whoops, missed all the comments I just repeated.

It’s very big, yes. Sorry, I was talking about YUMC growth with someone last week and the discussion was still fresh in my head. I was talking to someone who isn’t here, and baffling everyone who is.

Man... YUM is trying SO, SO hard to prove there’s a giant KFC market in China.

I don’t believe Nathan’s write-up is correct, because that’s exactly how it works afaik. Community servers can opt to run without VAC, and that’s where you can play once VAC’d. VAC, Trade, and Community bans are all tracked separately, and it’s very unusual to revoke licenses for cheating in a particular game.

huh... this is a surprisingly accurate quiz.

the song about a guy who only does one-night stands is being used to appeal to young children alongside blood-sport? I thought they only responded to memes.

This is how you reach the kids (needs the fireflies song, obv):

Whenever I’ve needed obscure source code, it’s usually on some unheard-of Japanese site with 10 page hits, right next to the sex pillow ads and binaries for 10 different RDI Halcyon emulators.
