Since a Crown Vic gets around 25 mpg on the highway with a not very efficient SOHC 4.6 V8 you would probably be close to 30 mpg with a 2.7 ecoboost. Really depends how deep you get into the boost and what kind of transmission/OD you use.

The stock bumps disagree.

The panther platform can fit the DOHC 4.6 V8 (Mercury Marauder) so it’ll probably fit an ecoboost.

Here’s a decent list of cars with celestial bodies in their names:

Or a dog.  Dogs work great.  Most of the time just the barking is enough for thieves to go f’ this I’m not getting bit.

Or... the Regal GS 3.6L V6 which already makes 310hp/282lb-ft factory. In the Camara it is more like 323hp stock.  Throw on a few mods and you’ll break 350hp and that wagon will really move.  Don’t disagree that you can tune the 2.0T up a bit either but it definitely has a lower ceiling that the 3.6 V6.  Maybe 350hp

Mine is Godzilla 7.3 swap an old Lincoln Towncar.

Yea between this and whole ships getting Norovirus I think I’ll skip cruises forever.

though the Brothers claim the engine has been tuned to make “over 662 RWHP” — meaning an increase of at least one horsepower from the factory 662.”

Didn’t Ford dump a shit ton of money into QC? Where did all that go? Bronco roofs were leaking right at the start of production, Bronco Sports and Escapes had leaking fuel systems, cars were lighting themself on fire, and now we have back up cameras that fail.

True, they don’t want the tap of government money to get turned off. Always a good idea to diversify your portfolio- especially if your portfolio mainly consists of a finite resource.  Having the government subsidize you diversifying?  Even better.

Lol Nissan has become it’s own customer. I’ll offer them a high interest 10 year note on a Versa which they can use to deliver pizzas to get out of this debt.

Republicans are working so hard to dismantle what Richard Milhous Nixon worked so hard to create. Soon the EPA and OSHA will be in shambles.

You know what CEO’s and by proxy, stockbrokers enjoy? Stability. Having laws, mandates, and policies stay consistent allows you to more accurately predict cash layouts for large projects. Doing a complete 180 every 4 years makes it really hard to figure out where to spend money on long term investments.  You don’t

I dunno the S38 can be really cool, the 2JZ is just an easy swap to get 150 more hp. I like when people tune up the S38 to 11.

This does sound like a James Bond villain plot.  I blame SPECTRE.

I just miss when ze Germans made stick wagons. A friend of ours had a 2000 something 528i wagon with a manual and basket weave rims and it was gorgeous.  RIP manual wagons.

What Acura really needs more of are hybrid models.  Lexus, Volvo, Mercedes, BMW, etc. all have tons of hybrid models to choose from.  At this point I’m not sure if Acura has any.

That was more for my basis of comparison as to why I’m going to keep my 5th gen 4Runner over this. Who knows maybe my kids kids will trade it in for this when the 4Runner gives up the ghost 50 years from now.

Well the DOHC is pretty much the only fail point because as stated the engine design/block is pretty solid. The fuel injectors have 50% higher pressure, there are cam phasers, and hydraulic lifters. Generally speaking those are good things but they also create question marks for reliability vs. the tried and true SOHC
