1. always chop at an angle, never perpendicular to the wood

I agree that it was better than the domestics, but in my opinion a base model Japanese car of the time had a nicer interior, engine, and trans than a comparable base VW.  The 2.0 with the auto was awful.  115hp engine that could barely go uphill.

Hmm...I think a lot of these problems apply to the mounted police as well.  Should probably disband that unit.

Yes, this is why I said COACH not player. Coaches can be objectively bad at their jobs even to the point of being fired and still get paid outrageous amounts.  Players must be good to get paid, and even if they are good are likely to live with horrendous injuries and possible CTE for the rest of their lives.

I can say that 2018 was the last of the manual Forester. I had one of the 2 that were in Virginia.

It has all the E30 markup plus the hassle of being a grey market car for insurance and titling. ND. For this price there are quite a few newer AWD manual 3-series that I would buy. I’ll give them that AWD/Manual/BMW/wagon is definitely rarefied ground.  That being said go with an Audi the ‘92-97 100/A6 can be found in

Oil is crucial to our national security. The Department of Defense is the largest consumer of oil in the world. The amount that civilian consumers use is kind of a drop in the bucket compared to how much a industrialized military consumes. If we want to make an actual impact in oil consumption it needs to start with

I’m thinking my dream non-job would be fired NFL coach. The Raiders reached some undisclosed sum to pay out Jon Gruden after he was fired and Josh Mcdaniels will still be making 10 mil a year for the next 4 years.

If you got anything above the base model MK4 Jetta or Golf the interiors were quite nice- especially the GLI/GTI. 100% agree that the MK4 had the best exterior styling of the post 2000 VW’s.

I agree on the 2.0 being total junk but not about anything else. One of my friends had a 2000 Jetta 2.0 auto and the other had a ‘01 Honda Accord (6th gen introduced in ‘98) and the Accord was soooo much nicer than the Jetta.  The big advantage was that the Jetta was available as a wagon and the Golf was a hatch two

If the car is off and you steer to0 much it will engage the steering wheel lock. Best to keep the car on in neutral so you still have power steering and power brakes.

Minivans kind of represent the ideal form for an EV platform.  If they can make it so stow n’ go type seats work for a flat load platform with the seats down I’m all for it.  Minivans tend to be used for either moving a bunch of people or secure tool and material storage (often both) so I want a seats that fold flat.

1978 Trans-Am made the list, this has my approval.

ETA: I mean isn’t that what Clarkson is?

Probably the Buick GNX. Buick had been a company known for making old person cars that weren’t very exciting for several years before the GNX came out. It blew everyone away that Buick, a company that hadn’t been cool since 1970 (Buick GSX) could come up with a turbo monster that could run with a Corvette.

What’s weird is a CX-90 with a non-hybrid turbo I6 makes more power and similar fuel economy. This just isn’t a very good hybrid system it seems. I do agree hybrids are perfect for cops that have long idle times using only accessories.

If it can be in RWD then it is certainly not an AWD system.  Sounds like a conventional 4x4 where it’s default is 2WD and you engage 4WD via a switch (either 4H or 4L).  AWD is all four wheels powered all the time.

6,118 lbs on sports tires- wonder how frequently those need to get changed.

AWD manual?  That’s weird because I’m pretty sure the auto has a standard 4WD set up.  It looks like the manual could come with either 4WD or AWD so this is quite the odd truck.  Any Taco people who can explain?  Either way ND for the tailgate.

I’d say the earlier 740 was peak brick.  This is still good though.  Turbo, RWD 740 manual wagon would be the most Jalop spec.
