“Globally, if you exclude China” Ok, so if we exclude one of the worlds largest EV markets then Kia/Hyundai are closing in on Tesla, got it. I’m not a Tesla defender but that’s a pretty large exclusion to make right off the bat.

I’d say the price is a little high for a 20 year old cars with almost 250k on the odometer.  That said, these are cool little cars and I’m sure someone will buy it.

Can you imagine bringing this in for repair and they throw you in a Dodge Avenger loaner?  Yea Merc, BMW, and Lexus won’t do you like that.

The Silverado HD.  They took all the ugly and made it bigger and harder to see out of (and in front of).

If this was the new Mk VIII I’d be fine with it

Those rims look like something you would get on an Accord

I don’t disagree at all with your points on styling, the Demon is far more contemporary and not all bubbly like the 2000's era Razor. From a chassis/powertrain standpoint the Razor would have been the perfect car for the time. It could’ve gone on to compete against the solstice, sky, and miata to make that segment

I looked at the dealership and the thing that stood out to me was how small the opening for the hatch was.  The C30 made some compromises for style that made it far less practical.  The GTI is a better performance option with more usability.  Also they stopped making the C30 in 2013 so the ones that are around are

2003 Ford 427 concept: 7.0 V10 590hp/509 lb-ft. RWD 6-speed manual sedan would’ve slaughtered the SRT-8 Charger before the Hellcat came out

The Razor is the precursor to that, 250hp, manual trans, 2500lbs.:

This is going to be the debate going forward for EV’s.  As iconic car sounds like BMW M-cars and Dodge Hemi’s transition to electric how should they sound?  BMW tapped Hans Zimmer to come up with a wholly unique electric sound and Dodge went with kind of a electronic version of a Hemi.  I’d like to see more composers

This is so clean as a survivor I’d hate to take any of the original parts out. That being said Ford does sell a 7.3 Godzilla crate engine now.

For the money I’d get a new mustang or a cobra.  Bullitt’s just aren’t worth this much.

ND for some of the question marks such as the need for a tune up and brake adjustment.  Also, change the struts on the hatch it takes like 5 minutes and if you can’t do that before sale then what else is wrong with it?

If only there were a modern interpretation of a micro car that is in production.  Darn you Elio Motors!

For a lot of bikes you don’t have to slide the signal switch back to off (by sliding) you just push the switch in and it returns to center. I think both my motorcycles had that and one was very old.

Agreed.  Pretty much all legal decisions of corporations are done based on some kind of risk metric as opposed to “will this cause people to be catastrophically injured or killed” which, IMO should be the metric.

The grill is horrendous. Especially in the white with the giant blacked out plastic. Even on the other models without the big black void its a camera in the middle of the grill with a lot of fussiness everywhere else

My point is that if GM thinks this is going to clear them from getting sued they are wrong.  The person suing them will not be the car owner, but the numerated list of people or companies that the vehicle is parked or charging at.

Just a hypothetical- If I parked my Bolt in my friends garage and charged it which then resulted in a fire, could my friend sue GM for their negligence of releasing a defective product. Seems like a classic tort scenario that the garage wouldn’t have burned but for the Bolt charging. The friend in this case is not a h
