Stelantis better dust off the Eagle nameplate from AMC and throw that new turbo I6 so we can have a lifted car comparison.

I did forget about the CT4 and CT5. Either way anything Cadillac produces will not be a model 3 competitor.  I think they will probably focus on crossover EV’s first like everyone else.

GM and Ford decided sedans don’t sell.  They don’t have a single sedan in production anymore so it doesn’t really make sense for them to do a ground up build of one.  They could possibly make an EV sports car since the Mustang and Camaro are still in production but they left the sedan game a long time ago.

The way I think of it is in terms of power tools. My circular saw takes a 12v battery that can range in size from 1.5ah all the way up to 8ah. When I put the larger battery in there is a noticeable change in power and the battery runs significantly longer. The manufacturers design the motor in a way that acknowledges

1998 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9 12v Cummins with 5 speed manual, 4x4, extended cab, long bed, no rust, under 100k miles. (probably $75k on BoT in mint condition its crazy out there)

Are you sure there is not a hooker in the trunk?  There is a notable lack of trunk shots and he is getting rid of it.

The author specifically notes that in the front it is an issue:

It is quite possible that with the AC blasting it won’t be a problem.  That being said it seems like a pretty big lapse in efficiency to have to blast the AC to overcome an obvious problem.  With electric cars trying to eak every last mile out of range it seems like a big flub to design the car in a way that makes it

I looked it up the ‘13 optima hybrid has a range of 619 miles.  Already a better deal.

The design for the big glass roof is a no for me. In places where the sun is beating down like the Midwest and the Southeast this would be horrible.  I hope they have some kind of option to have the AC running while the car is off to keep it reasonable inside.  People are going to feel like a baked potato in this

It looks like a turtle trying to poop

That’s because it was meant to compete against the European cars. It is also why the made the Cosworth which was a real contender when it came out.

diesel, manual, wagon, brown.  This is the way

The rims make it look fussy compared to the more minimalist look of the overall car.  The car is kind of swoopy and teardrop shaped and the rims look sharp and pointed.

Lack of knowledge on GM transmission I guess.  My ideal set up would be a T56 Tremec but I would hate to make the bench seat useless.  Then again, there are plenty of seats so T56 it is.

This is an LS swap and a Th400 away from being the perfect DD.

I have a feeling they will break apart some of these that are still gas for commercial use. Ford still sells the E-series as a cutaway van with the big ol’ 7.3 godzilla gas V8. Commercial will still be gas for a long time.

My friend had a 94 GT with the monsoon speaker package, black leather, and black paint.  New body style with the 5.0 and T5 5 speed.  The transmission ended up getting eaten up (maybe all the burnouts had something to do with it).  Anyways that car was a beast.

Ford GT, not Ford mustang GT. GT’s were the supercar halo of Ford.

1993 Toyota MR2 5 speed base model in faded red paint. Dad said it was too fast for a first car after our test drive so I ended up with an Audi sedan.
