The 2.0 is 158hp vs. the 1.5t’s 180hp. The 1.5t also puts out 177lb-ft of torque which I’m sure is more than the 2.0 by a bit and probably peaks at a lower rpm. I’ve heard the 1.5t’s are so efficient that they have trouble warming the cabin due to cooler coolant running through the heater core. Also they have problems

Through enough gear reduction all things are possible.

you work in marketing?

I appreciate that they still have the NA 2.0 and a 6spd. manual.  I’ll have to test drive one at some point.

Now that Takata has no money and is clearly bad at making airbags who goes about replacing them and with what airbags? If the NHTSA says these are not safe, they need to be replaced, then what supplier outside of Takata replaces them and who pays for it?

I think the answer to this question depends on when “old” starts. I really liked my 1993 honda civic si a lot,it had plenty of storage space easy to flip down seats, decent power (125hp out of a 1.6L on 87) and could actually sit real 6' people in the back, all while getting over 35mpg!  That being said I think for

My Grandma’s 1979 caprice classic in light blue with the police interceptor package is up there too.  Apparently it was used in a shoot out in New Orleans after it got sold by my cousins to someone who never signed the title after the sale.

I do appreciate the engine being the right way on these. My old audi also have a forward facing V6 which made belt changes and accessory maintenance much easier. (old 2.8 12v V6)

Concourse Concorde.

Is there a 120v AC plug in the bed?  Is there bed lighting in the rails?  Is there any external storage like the ram?  What’s the life cycle for replacing the headlights (I assume you replace the whole $700 assembly or whatever)

I hope they come up with this as the badge.

I could go for a George Strait edition Bronco lol.

I’ve done a few BMW’s and those things have like 3 seperate o-rings to replace.  PITA

Clearly not a chicken buyer.  They have a minimum of 6 for purchase.  Also, very important they are unsexed which means you may end up with like 5 roosters if you don’t know what you are looking for.  Best bet is to go to a local feed store that sells sexed chickens.

As a person who used to do 5-10 oil changes a day the best solution is a proper oil filter wrench. I have 1 claw type and 2 with the 2 jaws depending on size. I also have the 32mm low profile socket for GM filters, the cartridge type wrench for the Motorcraft FL2021B and my recent addition for the toyota cartridge

The 5.0 V8 F150 is rated at 17/24mpg which is only 1mpg off the city gas mileage of the 3.5tt and better than any competitor with a V8.  So I guess its fuel sucking, but not when compared to the competition.  I mean a ford flex was rated at 16/23mpg so it beats that.

What I did is support the hub assembly with various pieces of metal until it is level, then I use an old bearing race to press out the old bearing.  The trick is to soak it with penetrating lube all around it several times (both removal and install).  And yes they will sound like a gunshot when they blow.  Our shop

oof wait until you hear the haunting sounds of a hub bearing whining at 60 mph.

No joke I had to do all 4 wheel bearings on one.  They are press in hub bearings!  Literally need to pull the whole hub assembly off the car to press them out.  The 5R55 is a POS.  Much better bet to get something with the old AOD4 which is rock solid.

Where to begin on these... The rims I suppose.  Every FoMoCo with those chrome plated rims has issues with chrome delaminating.  This pushes the tire just slightly off the bead enough to cause a slow leak.  The solution is to pull the tire off and wire wheel the hell out of the chrome to smooth it out and then slap a
