I honestly don’t want/need a super duper quick electric truck. I really just want something with decent range that has a good AWD system. If you told me it had 300hp and got 350miles of range I’d be good. Especially if they offered it in a quad cab with at least a 7' bed.  I think the problem with the electric trucks

You should be able to eat in you car and be on your phone when your off duty. Cops don’t report back to the station for lunch you just eat in your car then go back to work. I think its fair to be able to be on your phone when you are on break just like everyone else. I do agree that most phone usage at work it for

KC lights with covers on anything from the 80's/early 90's. Give me an old toyota or K5 blazer with those sweet sweet yellow covers.

I would ask if there is any study on how this impacts human health but I feel like no one cares and they’ll just wait until people start coughing up blood or whatever.

I’d imagine a lot of that is in labor.  You have to pay an electrician to install the breaker (if there isn’t a spare) run the wire and install the outlet/land the wire.  That labor cost alone is probably a couple hundred

I’m not talking about posting funny photos on the internet and tweeting. I’m talking about having to go to the hospital to take care of your loved ones. Dispatch’s responsibility is to deal with the business of law enforcement you should not clog up the channels because of something personal.  For that you use your

it depends who you are selling too and if the panels are paid off. Some people aren’t throwing down the full 50K at once and might end up selling a house while still paying for the panels. It’s not like you are going to rip them off and take them with you. Also some people may not pay a premium for panels. They ruin

The quote makes it seem like they didn’t have anyone who knew anything about roofing help create the estimates.  With roofing you never know what kind of can of worms you’re opening until you do the tear down.  If the sheathing is rotted or the beams, rafters, etc. need reinforcing it’ll change the price drastically,

Really? Like cops don’t have families that they might need to communicate to? You think that if you are a cop and your kid needs to get picked up from school the school should have to call dispatch?  You think if your partner gets into a car accident they should put it on the radio instead of calling your personal

The vaccum systems on the 2.4 are so silly!  I took the manifold off of one and there is a stupid amount of vacuum lines that are just hidden under the manifold and impossible to reach without removal.

honestly the 4 cylinders aren’t bad.  As long as you replace all the vacuum hoses with modern rubber your good.  The rover v8 ones though....

This. It is not about anything other than business. Their gas cars sell, in fact they sell in big numbers. The tacoma has been the best selling small truck for 16 years. It has never offered a hybrid option.  The 4runner is as old as the dinosaurs and still has strong sales.  They are hedging their bets (as smart

you mean like putting out cars that only meet the EPA fuel mileage if they are ran within the very specific parameters of the EPA test?

The cap sends the wrong message to automotive manufacturers. It literally penalizes them for selling too many of the vehicles that they are supposed to be incentivized to sell. Like good job for doing the thing we wanted you to do now we are going to take away your ability to be competitive.

Yea I was thinking this or the explorer ST would be viable options.  Also, maybe a Tahoe

That was kind of the standard for awhile.  I did a bunch of head units in older cars and the nicer brands would come with a removal tool.  Just slide the little tool in both sides and it pops right out.

your supposed to disconnect the battery for a minimum of 10 mins before messing with the airbag.  Gives time for all the modules to fully power down.

On Ford trucks the air bag wasn’t to hard to take out either.  Its just a few 8mm bolts around the steering wheel.  Honestly faster than taking the wheel off.

I’ve got a manual 2018 Forester last year they made them.  There was only 1 in our whole state.

I agree that an LSD is preferable to subaru’s front and rear open diff’s with a viscous center diff, that being said the forester does pretty darn well offroad without having an LSD.
