I watched Catastrophe this summer and was reminded of what a fucking treasure Carrie was.

because we all love and miss the Obamas, thank you very much.

why are you reading it?

I swear to god he treats the entire presidency like its a summer job at his uncle’s store that he wasn’t actually planning on taking until Mom made him. He hasn’t staffed offices, he didn’t bother to book hotel rooms for major events, and announces “YUP WORKING HARD!” whenever he thinks someone might be looking.

I hate chelsea, she is not different than those other fake white WOKE women, thinking that you see that once in a setting is good enough for everything else beyond that to stop or at least find that the work is done. You can tell by her response to Nash.

He loves weddings so much, he had three of them!

Isn’t that funny? But I get it. I sewed clothes for my babies, but once they got out of the baby shape I gave it right up. It is hard to sew clothes well!

How beautiful! I’ve never seen handmade smocking before.

Stunning, I love these kinds of intricate details for kiddie clothing. Really great-looking!!!!!

I love that Pie-pie! Your stitching is always on point.

I’ve been working on a very traditional quilt this summer—it’s a farm-warming present for my mother in law who got to return to farm life after 40 years in town. :D She’s very happy to have a reason to ride a tractor again. :D

This is so cute! I love it!

Awww that is so adorable!

This is a painting I did for a fund raiser for an art guild I belong to. The composition is off, but I recently had back surgery so admittedly I’m a bit off my game. The idea wasn’t mind but was based off an art video on you tube so I can’t take credit for the idea either.

That is stunning! The colors, the ruffle effect at the top...stunning. Your friend and her baby are very lucky!

I finished this mermaid tail cocoon for my friend’s baby this week. I wish I had blocked the tail because it would have given it a more fanned out look but she loved it regardless. The baby’s nursery is themed for “under the sea” so I figured it was appropriate.

Today has been all about my Stormy Seas blanket! I finished connecting the bottom and, as of this pic, had 96 hexagons to go.
