I swear to god he treats the entire presidency like its a summer job at his uncle’s store that he wasn’t actually planning on taking until Mom made him. I’ve been working on a very traditional quilt this summer—it’s a farm-warming present for my mother in law who got to return to farm life after 40 years in town. :D She’s very happy to have a reason to ride a tractor again. :D

This is a painting I did for a fund raiser for an art guild I belong to. The composition is off, but I recently had back surgery so admittedly I’m a bit off my game. The idea wasn’t mind but was based off an art video on you tube so I can’t take credit for the idea either.

I finished this mermaid tail cocoon for my friend’s baby this week. I wish I had blocked the tail because it would have given it a more fanned out look but she loved it regardless. The baby’s nursery is themed for “under the sea” so I figured it was appropriate.

Today has been all about my Stormy Seas blanket! I finished connecting the bottom and, as of this pic, had 96 hexagons to go.
