I feel the problem with No Man’s Sky is that the developers blatantly lied about the game’s features. Many of the things that they said would be in the game were not there. The game looks nothing like the trailers with many environments and creature types missing. Jim Sterling listed all of them and showed how the…
I’ve only played this game a little because I have to borrow my friend’s Wii U to play it (I don’t own one myself). Tatsu and the game’s overall story was disappointing. However, when I treated the game like a Monster Hunter type game that I played with others, it got a lot better. Most RPGs I play are for the story…
People were patient with Overwatch. But, here’s the thing. Overwatch had 3 months to fix problems. People’s patience for you to fix the game is gone as well if you don’t do anything worthwhile in those three months. Blizzard had their chance to make peace with the players. But each time, it feels like balance of the…
We’ve been seeing them in 2D for like 20 years, so it’s weird seeing them in 3D for the first time. In addition, first attempts at 3D sometimes does not end well, so this is their one chance to screw it up and they should have no excuses for their next installment in a few years.
It’s going to take them some time to improve on the 3D graphics since they’ve been using 2D since forever. I just hope Arc System Works still stays with 2D.
I did not see this coming, but this would have made sense if they took their nanobot ninja technology one step further I guess. Someone goofed and created zombies by accident. It’s strange that they would try to make this kind of game with Metal Gear of all franchises though.
Getting the original creator to back it might not be a good idea, especially if they’re trying to turn it into something completely different. Looking at how Konami operates though, I don’t think many former employees would support them either.
I’m gonna have to laugh like crazy if this game is released full of bugs and needs like a day one patch to fix its broken mess.
D.Va and Roadhog are a lot more situational though. Right now the problem seems to be that the heroes that are good “all rounders” are the ones that are dominating the pro games.
I’m surprised they set the lawyers out on this one while all those other fan games that use their graphics (and some even charge money) go.
It’s because Metroid got nothing for it’s anniversary other than a spin-off instead of featuring Samus as a throw away line. It would have been fine to do it if this wasn’t the first Metroid game in like 5 years and if it wasn’t the anniversary. It’s just really bad timing on Nintendo’s part when their other…
I disliked Final Fantasy XI because I never felt like they were able to balance solo and group play. They did a much better job of that part in XIV at least
If Nintendo remade the Pokemon games, they can remake the Metroid games if they wanted to. It’s a shame they don’t.
A lot of MMOs nowadays is that even the pay to play games have cash shops. This creates the same problems that free to play games have in pay to play and buy to play games.
The cash shop strategies in Korea, China, and Japan are very different. In most cases, the items are less then half the cost of the items in the westernized version of the game. In the most extreme cases that I have seen, the Korean version of the game’s items are only 1/10th of the cost of the items here. That random…
I know in countries like US and Japan, betting with something that isn’t money allows them to avoid some of the gambling laws. This is why casinos have you exchange your money for something like chips that can only be used at the gambling site. It’s also what allows game companies to implement those random boxes in…
I feel like most live action of anime already suck. I doubt this will be any different.
I feel the problem with the anime was it jumped around way too much and there were problematic tonal shifts. The first episodes feels light hearted. then it becomes super serious, then it goes light hearted again when everyone is still trapped in the game of death. It doesn’t explore things like people freaking out…
I’m glad they’re doing something about it. I wish it was less done in waves and more done when someone is caught. Just get them out of the game ASAP.
