We know seven things:
1) Wallace Shawn seems to be everywhere! I've run into him twice already.
2) His improbable friendship with André is indeed touching, but I'm thinking more of the one with André the Giant.
3) I've been wanting to see Vanya on 42nd Street for years, but somehow never have. Here is my chance.
4) André

The "killing off your customers" business model worked a-ok for the cigarette companies for a good long time. Well, for a long time anyway.

We know seven things:
1) If a real megalodon existed, it would just go galumphing along, swallowing krill, and its theme song would be the music from Soap.
2) Eli Roth made a crazy turkey movie.
3) Deep Blue Sea was enjoyable when I saw it in the movie theater. But it wouldn't be enjoyable to watch a second time.
4) Why

Paula Erickson is a good one.

History's greatest Jew! He's been called that many times. We know that his picture The Jazz Singer (a remake of an old film) was a toasted flop.

We know seven things:
1) Karyn Rachtman is the finest music supervisor ever to hold the job.
2) The soundtrack albums of Repo Man, Return of the Living Dead, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre part 2 and Some Kind of Wonderful helped define my musical tastes, at least for a while.
3) The soundtrack for Spring Break is a fun

We know seven things:
1) Neil is an odd bird.
2) I think his heart is in the right place - I'm a family farm fan myself.
3) That biography Shakey is a fun read.
4) But the same author's earlier biography of Andy Milligan is the real jaw-dropper.
5) On The Beach is Neil's finest album.
6) Neil always seemed a little feral to

I just read an excerpt from the (unfinished) Goldsmith biography; turns out Carrie Goldsmith and "Jamie" Horner only went on one date, but it was Jerry's joke for the rest of his life that Horner was her boyfriend.

That's a fact I did not know. For some reason I thought Horner was gay; not that it would have stopped him from dating Goldsmith's daughter if he really was that gung-ho to meet her dad.

I have a soft spot for Explorers, the film, and really genuinely like the score a whole lot. The Gremlins music is a pretty strong contender, though, neck-and-neck almost. It might be a bit too circusy for me in the end. But I also think the Twilight Zone score is aces, especially in the George Miller segment.

I sure have. I own the cassette tape of that score. It's not one of my favorites, I do have to admit. For my money, the best score Goldsmith did for Dante is Explorers.

I'm too old for this shit, Lethal Weapon!

I'd like to at least hear a mashup of the Halloween theme and Jerry Goldsmith's terrific Link score.

It's not really meant to be a gimmick! I'm sorry it comes off that way, as I tend to find gimmicks annoying.

We know seven things:
1) Halloween II had a similar opening titles sequence to its predecessor, but this time the pumpkin broke open and there was a skull inside.
2) A security guard had a claw hammer buried in his skull in that movie - security guards are always having that happen to them in slasher movies.
3) Tom Hanks

We know seven things:
1) The black pleather suit worn by the Crow actors is most uncomfortable.
2) The director of the original Crow was Alex Proyas, who went on to make the religious Nicolas Cage movie.
3) Garage Days was this director's only non sci-fi/fantasy picture.
4) He never made Krull.
5) There were several

Well I don't think it's a gimmick really, but I'll try not to be so dogmatic in my formatting though.

I'd actually like to hear them!

Ayyyy! You have that cool record? Is that the one with Fonz wearing a button on the cover?

We know seven things:
1) John Williams has a long association with the Star Wars films.
2) The packaging of the original film's soundtrack was quite basic, with only the title on the cover.
3) John Williams was denied participation in the new Spielberg film Bridge of Spies because his theme sounded too much like the Scoob
