Fellow white person here and you are so correct. It’s always “WHAT ABOUT ME?” whenever race is being discussed. Obviously we are so important that all conversations need to include us, usually taking control of the conversation, and, ultimately, the solution should come from us.

I was 12 when Orca was released. A friend and I saw went to a showing and I immediately sympathized with the orcas. They were just trying to live their lives and here come humans ruining everything, as usual.

This is us. We have gone 3 times in the last 15 years. Usually stay for a week: 2 days at Universal and 4 + at DisneyWorld.
