The first time I saw this video I was outraged. It shows the problem RIGHT THERE but when I’ve shown it to my fellow whites, you know who you are, they still don’t get it. “Maybe there are a lot of black bike thieves in that area” or some other bullshit.

I don’t know how she got “stealing a car” from seeing someone working on their car. I have seen someone steal a car and it looks like them stealing a damn car.

This video shows the difference in how black men are viewed verses white men. Disclaimer: Post thing video in no way says that I think the man was stealing his own damn car.

I am white and when hearing “white people” I do not take it to mean “every single white person ever”. I know what is being said and don’t take any offense.

I read about this a few days ago. After the artwork was removed for the second time in a week, the chairman of the CBC, Cedric Richmond, said “We may just have to kick somebody’s ass and stop them.”and

I can barely hold down a job now which is why I am working part time and have no choice but to have ACA insurance.

Insurance premiums were increasing by 20% + each year before the ACA. Also the ACA has (should have) no bearing on the premiums being charged. That is wholly the fault of for profit insurance. They have many more subscribers than they had before which equals more money to them so the huge increases are due to greed.

I am also bi-polar with the pluses of anxiety and depression. Not those meds scares me more than not having my thyroid or cholesterol medication.

If you want to be an ally you don’t really need to say anything to us. You need to say things to the people being sexist or demeaning. If you MUST say something to us just say “Go get ‘em”. 

I refuse to accept that this is real.

Has there ever been an outcry of “SHOW US THE EVIDENCE?” about intelligence investigations before? I’ve been alive a long time and I don’t remember that ever being the case. It was just accepted that we don’t get to know everything an investigation by the intelligence agencies.

But a “date” rapist probably doesn’t only rape once. If they would actually do the work on these they could be preventing more attacks down the road.
