HAHA look at all the poor black people they don’t have much money so there’s nothing to tax! And you totally didn’t skip the entire point of the comment just to make a dumb joke that’s equal parts racist and juvenile!

“This is a great accomplishment, black people! I mean, sure, you don’t enjoy soccer in large numbers, but we’ll give a few of you part-time jobs so some of you can serve us food while we watch! Now just give us some of your tax dollars so we can seal the deal.”
Sorry to repeat your premise; should have checked the grays for the obvious yet necessary joke(that’s not really a joke).
You serious? It’s clearly for when players get paid (the way literally everyone else involved in big-time college football does).
So, on this team that’s basically the West’s version of the Caps, there’s this Shattenkirk guy....He’ll put up points from D and be happy to sign a lengthy sub-market extension with his childhood team.
I’m not expert enough to distinguish or judge (especially from just this article) the difference between borderline-criminal negligence and innocent over-zealousness compounded by some unforeseen variables, but....come on, man.
I disagree Harrison couldn’t have touched him if he wasn’t held. After being restrained for a few steps, he hit the ground almost directly behind Smith right as he was releasing the ball. Would have been close depending on how much Fisher could have redirected him without strangling him, but that’s not a legit reason…
I just can’t get this out of my head every time I see this story.
This is correct. If you’d have told me the Steelers would only score 18 points, I’d have asked what time the flight from KC to Boston left. Steelers D is not bad by any means...but it’s not other-worldly, and while the KC offense has flaws/limits, it had plenty of playmakers to get the job done.
We’re going to keep a low profile, you guys. Stay off social medi-PAM!
Yep. I won’t respond to the wrong people in the grays to promote their wrong take that Harrison slipped to cause it/made it look bad. Fisher’s arm goes to the neck (meaning Fisher’s already beat) when Harrison’s stepping with his left leg, right foot planted. Harrison then proceeds to take two full steps with Fisher…
I vaguely remembered it; it was exactly what I had in mind before I looked it up when I thought “ya know, Eli had that absurd year and I be the Jets had a garbage fire QB at the same time....”
Good point, forgot about that.
I’m not saying you’re wrong. But the politicians in any current NFL market would have to be REAL fucking stupid to believe a #20-or-lower metro poses a threat, when you factor in relocation fees and decimation of your fan base.
Check the rest of the thread....it turns out it WAS exceeded...in the 1962 AFL. By a one-stadium team.
Holy shit. It didn’t even occur to me that a player in that less pass-heavy era would even be allowed to throw that many INTs, particularly in a one-QB stadium.
Yep....and if you think I was going to check for injury/garbage time backup INTs for any stadium/team you’re crazier than a Donald Trump press conference. As a former St. Louis Rams fan I’m content to say RAMS=BAD.
You’re talking about fights between Raider fans and other Raider fans, yes? Not sure anything else will be possible.
Eli Manning and Geno Smith played in the same building at one point, so there’s that.
