This is the grocery store by my office!

What really frustrates me about this story (besides the obvious) is the underlying, societal pressure for women to be quiet and passive and go with it. Perhaps this a case of individual behavior - and I'm not blaming her in anyway, as I too am an incredibly shy, follow orders, passive kind of person (currently working

i think i watch too much SVU. this is most certainly the scene where elliot's in solitary and he jumps out all, i said three days?! you left me in there for a week?! arrghhhhh.

on a side note: what movie is that image from? annie hall doesn't quite seem right...?

Agreed. would love to hear from someone on the other side.

we split everything 50/50 on an intricate google spreadsheet that I created because I'm very intense like that

i am so sad that the bachelor has had 14 seasons. sheesh.

oh my god! this was FANTASTIC! tweeting it. love it. wow. thank you for sharing.

Considering all the super naturalness of the show - how come no one dies anymore?!?!?!

But, there was something misogynistic about two men who have a good degree of direct and indirect control over these women's lives laugh at them and tell them where their place is. It's kind of like they both truly wanted these women to STFU they shouldn't

Something about Fallon's "You are the man" kind of rubbed me the wrong way. Like high-five dude, you told those bitches to shut up. Dbaggery in all its glory.

thank you so much for this. there are hundreds of reasons why people don't get jobs, and when rejected/denied people often forget this. you could have every piece of paper and every skill necessary, but if you're not a good 'fit' or if the interviewer's brother's best friend's son is also looking for a job, you're

This. I had such a crush on him. Then completely forgot him. And when I got onto the internet in the late 90s I randomly searched for him and was so upset to find out he had killed himself. Sad. :(

oh don't you know? rape's not a crime in this country.

thanks for speaking up arbarrtheaardvark! i think their response was a little too quick to go wah, it's not our fault. practice what you preach.

I'd ask him what he'd do if anyone ever treated one of his daughters the way he treated me
