Yeah... I liked her a lot better when she was singing about doing blow and being lonely in hotel rooms.

Oh it's in there but you have to get almost to the end to learn about it. I found the other documentaries and podcasts wa more informative.

But she's amazing. I wish people would just use Google or Youtube and see just how much.

My family is in Stone Mountain and it's majority Black in Dekalb County. I'm frankly amazed it didn't go blue, but disenfranchising works, I guess.

Honestly if you watch this doc, the one on Amazon and listen to the 3 podcasts about NXIVM you pretty much get the whole story.

There's a lot more to tell if you factor in the child rape, kidnapping, possible poisonings and suicides connected to KR. Ugh.

This is literally what he did. He set up women to recruit other women, he wanted every “slave” to implicitly ask for whatever punishment or penance was required (also the branding) in order to make them complicit and so law enforcement would think it was all consensual. I've now seen 2 documentaries and listened to

I'm just waiting for someone to do the cranberry juice meme using the song Dreams by The Cranberries.

I’m also interested in that angle... As an American who got into BoA, 2NE1 and CL I’m always curious about the crossover factor too.

It's Britney, bitch.

To be fair, Black really don't crack. But yeah, I got the sense that Abigail feels as old as time itself in the book.

I always wanted Keanu in that role...

I’m sort of pissed at the inference that only the bad side gets strippers and bondage gear but I guess they have to go with a visual short hand so, oh well.

OMG that is exactly how a friend of mine had her first flare. I can't imagine how that must have felt for you. I really don't understand the total lack of empathy when these people were screaming about death panels not so long ago.

I think she may have been an Olympic level equestrian who also happened to own all her own training facilities... Not totally sure though.

I totally understand how it happened, but the supposed self help aspect was so fucking vague and so heavy on the "don't be a victim/you control your own negativity" talk that someone like me would immediately be turned off. Also, I fucking HATE group activities and V Week looks like my idea of hell.

They also all seem to be hyper invested in making the world a better place but no one ever really explains how they will. Lots of vague posturing that ends up mainly being just multi level marketing. So, essentially they all just wanted to make money.

Not at all surprised. When I attended in the 90's some fraternities and sororities were still having plantation themed costume parties using poor POC as wait staff...

I updated today and while I can't access recents from my home screen, if I'm actually using an app it works.

This is the saddest thing to learn. The one time I got to visit Mexico (my white in laws live there) I was treated so we'll. While I could understand enough spanish to know that people were remarking on my color, I never heard any explicitly negative comments. I'm sure it's because I was clearly from the U.S. and
