Honestly, of the various reboots, this has been my far the favorite. It wasn't perfect, and I kinda miss old-style Archer still (and jesus christ, Reed, why are we still doing transphobic Lana jokes, jesus, it's 2017), but I liked this way better than Vice — and quite a bit better than the Figgis Agency. (Though if we

Honestly, yeah — Archer ran Barry over like, 3 times in a row. Why not finish the deal and peel out on his chest?

I'm glad I'm not the only one with very low Fred Armisen tolerance levels. Dude seems like a fine guy, and he likes a lot of good music, but good lord, whoever told him he was funny was playing a cruel, cruel joke.

I KNOW. There was an FB meme going around that was something to the effect of "if you were to tell 2000 you one thing about yourself that would blow their mind" I was thinking "Nicole Richie is REALLY GOOD in a role" would do it. But damned if she isn't.

are you really calling the richard spencer doof-cut "sensible"?

Definitely. Maybe Pesto can get hit by a car or something, and Pesto's (presumably ex-?) wife takes over the place, and… maybe does something interesting? And not being terrible for no reason?

Yeah, I agree — and unlike Jimmy Pesto who's similarly dickish, they're usually just in the episode a little bit, AND still helpful in their own way. (Mainly to shake down Bob for extra money but hey.)

Yeah, honestly, Pesto's the only character that consistently doesn't work for me. Basically, just make him do the most dickish thing for no real reason (I mean, Bob got his float from the Bear bar for free — did Pesto buy a new float JUST to fuck with Bob? Even though that's likely more than the $500 last place

Indeed, she was one of the network executives.

…would YOU trust alice?

Was it real German for the most part? I wasn't sure if, especially near the end, it devolved into what I call "Bad-Movie German", which is basically just English with a few added "-en" suffixes and guttural mumbling.

This is sort of what bugged me about the episode? I couldn't quite figure out why anyone would pay for that, since you have a 50/50 shot at having an awesome time versus an absolutely awful time? Like, really, paying to be a Victorian-era servant?

DOGGGGG BOYYYYYYY

I don't know, I really hope that basically it goes that Krieger tries to make a Robo-Barry, except that it's 1947, so it ends up being really slow and painful to use, so basically Barry continues to be a sad sack, rather than the insane robot he is in the main chronology.

Oh, god, I know — that dumb ass who thought he was fuckin' Matlock. UGH.
