RUN GORGONZOLA RUN
(comes with gorgonzola)

Yeah, that too. I disagree on the smashing-of-garlic, but the money was really, really stretching it. It's like they forgot that they're kind of a struggling family? Or at the very least that he lives with friggin' Louise?

Yeah - I didn't really care for this one. Gene seemed TOO ditzy. I didn't buy that he'd crush the first clove. I like it better when Gene's just on his own wavelength rather than, y'know, stupid.

The thing that I find hilarious — I remember when Nathan Barley came out, it had a lot of bad buzz and a lot seemed to be about how Morris would somehow lower himself to work with Charlie Brooker, since he was just a hack with a website.

I was actually frustrated by a lot of Bedtime Stories — the only ones I really liked were the ones that were a full half-hour. Most of them, like "Toes", seemed to be a brilliant premise that just ends. The extra 10 minutes would have given the story a bit more room to breathe and be truly great. (Like, say, the

Yeah, I gotta agree. Tiffany is probably the most grating character…. AND I'M INCLUDING LEMONGRAB. (because he is awesome)

Hm — I'd argue, though, that by the time of PPG's cancellation, its popularity had waned. I was a huge fan, but I think the last episode I watched first run was the Phyllis Diller one. And I'm pretty sure it went on for a year or so after that. AT still seems to be a phenomenon (speaking popularity-wise), so we

I wouldn't be surprised if it was maternity leave — I remember reading that she was pregnant around the same time that the episode where BMO was pregnant aired. (Which, i would assume given timelines, is merely coincidence.)

Yeah — I didn't even realize this was a clip show until Sava mentioned it. HOW DO THEY MAKE A CLIP SHOW ONE OF THE SHOW'S BEST EPISODES??

I dunno, Season 1 had its fair share of non-main arc episodes. I guess though, those blended in a bit more as any bit of magical whatnot fed into the main mystery of the journal, and there's less of that overarching effect now.

But IS it predestined to work. Again, I don't know how much we know about the Love God's powers. (Kind of another issue with this ep…) But the turn around from hate to love (rather than meh to love, even) makes me think it really is more of a brainwash than a "helping hand".

I agree with you about almost everything, though my takeaway was that the Love God, being a literal god (or cherub, I guess), knew what he was doing. And was either putting together folks that with his outside information that gods must have, knew was "right", or was basically doing partytricks by using the Puppy

SEXY BABIES NEED THE MOST ATTENTION

I think it's probably online, but it's also a bonus on one of the Old School DVD sets, but the original Henson pitch reel is HILARIOUS. The premise is that a bunch of (Muppet) TV executives are trying to workshop the show — but their main problem is the title.

QUESTLOVE'S NOT IN THE HOUSE

ahh — I was gonna ask about that. Hulu's version started with the act 1 opening, no intro sequence. It sounds like that was by design. OK!

Yeah — I remember seeing an interview with JG and he mentioned that at first CN wanted to do sort of an intermediary block between CN proper and Adult Swim, and AT/RS were that block. It was one where they used the mild swearing as a test both on CN's part and on RS's part, and after the second or third episode, CN

AHEM

Yeah! I love Berry's music. (I am amused that the entire score for Snuff Box is basically two chords.) I remember seeing a review of… Kill the Wolf I think? from the NME, where the review boiled down to "This sucks because it's not funny". It never seemed to dawn on them that, y'know, it wasn't meant to be.

IT KIND OF IS
