(there was also a part where in the intro, they were just like, hanging out with the fifty kids, and it was really confusing WHY, because it didn't seem to have anything to do with anything, and they weren't hanging out at the house they were gonna do on the show, and they had a creek?)

There was one that my mom and I watched once recently when I was visiting — we had to change the channel, though — it was the one where the hosts are this married couple with like, fifty kids, and the married couple obviously absolutely despise each other. Where it'd be all:

That's actually one of my favorite albums.

haha, yeah. I read that and just was all "wait, what… do you think… books are?"

Yeah — I'm shocked that the last three big Disney ones (Tangled, Wreck-It Ralph, Frozen, right?) have been way way better than the last three Pixars. (And Ralph SO should have won the Oscar instead of Brave. Ralph was outstanding.)

Yeah, for reals. I was really hoping that Cars 2 would have been the Shitty Outlier, but, honestly, all those movies were kinda ass. (I think Brave was a legit let-down. The story was cliche, and kind of hinged on an idiot plot; MU just seemed…. pointless? Like I didn't get why we'd care about their university

Yeaaaah. I don't know why Shining Armor just triggers my hate switch though. Cadence is boring and forgettable, but SA is boring, forgettable, and calls her "Twily". Uggggh. ONE THOUSAND YEARS DUNGEON.

Actually, the ending kinda hit a sour note for me. I'm not quite sure why. (The rest of the ep was outstanding, though.)

Baby Blues was abysmal. You didn't miss much.

I just hope she was also enraged about Shining Armor being a big boring pile of nothing.

She was still around in a reduced capacity for S2, though. (Though apparently she DID work on ACW, she was surprised/horrified when they made Cadence another fucking alicorn, completely screwing up the show's cosmology.) I think S2 is still worht watching. There are occasional good episodes in S3-4 (I like the one

IMHO, Seasons 1 and 2 are still good, S3 is where it begins to lose its footing, and then EQG is abysmal and S4 is generally pretty meh.

There's a great book about Bell Labs, "The Idea Factory". Here's my review of it: http://kittysneezes.com/201… …and I recomend reading it as a companion to "Exploding the Phone", about the Phone Phreaking culture. (My review of that one - http://kittysneezes.com/201… - for anyone interested.)

I think it depends on the comic. IMHO, the MLP comic book actually gets the show more than the show does at this point, and the Adventure Time comic is SUPER good.

As much as I love Eagleheart as it is…I kinda wanna see Resnickheart.

For reals! There is nothing about this interview I do not love!

A lot of the ones I've seen have a lot more of the interaction. There're games that basically get one entry in the edited shows, even. I think as the show gets more popular and more entrenched, they're gonna drift a little more panel-show wise, away from game-show.

From what I heard, Hardwick wanted to do a full on British Style Panel Show, but knew it'd be a hard sell, so to get Americans to get it/enjoy it, played up the gameshow aspect a bit more.

I always figured that with some of the more canned stuff they have a list of things they MIGHT hit, and then probably give them the more topical stuff earlier on the day of.

I've only been watching for a month or so, but I am completely entranced with it. I love that show. I even watched a bunch of 'em on the CC site that I'd missed. Though that one with Patton/Posehn/Capatch was probably the best.
