I found the spectacle entertaining when I saw the movie in the theater. At the time the special effects were pretty impressive.

The unskippable, unspeed-uppable bits with [spoiler] talking to Malroth in his mind are absolutely the worst part of the game.

What are you, like, super lonely that you think you intimately know some chick on Twitch because you give her money to show the occasional side boob?

If only Dragon Quest Builders 2 would learn to just shut up sometimes. Sooooooo much talking... and those text scenes that were unskippable while assuming everyone reads at the speed of a slow first grader. A great game with a serious flaw that is present throughout its entirety.

The existence of Twitch in general and the fact that people can make their livings playing video games on a camera and indeed become a kind of celebrity made me realize I had indeed gotten old. I just utterly do not get it or see the appeal.  Pardon me while I go yell at a cloud.

I guess I am just an old fart but I don’t get it. Sure she is very attractive but her channel is blah. I have tried to watch her to see the why of it all and each time just came away bored and indifferent. She isn’t particularly entertaining, she isn’t that great a gamer. Maybe I keep choosing her off days?  Beats me…

I have hated the music in Dragon Quest for years. It is just so bland. The music in other JRPG series (particularly Final Fantasy) was always so much more evocative even if the games themselves were meh. I’m sure the orchestrated music sounds better, but I’ll still probably hate it.
