I switched from cigarettes (30 years of them) to vaping six years ago and the transition was immediate - I haven’t had a single tobacco cigarette in that time and do not miss them. The most glaring/obvious change was that I stopped coughing all the time. Stairs became easier. A more heightened sense of taste returned.

Vaping means a lot of bad stuff isn’t getting to your lungs. On the other hand there may be unforseen consequences chemically from the method of vaporization or even from the way the juice is manufactured (similar to how certain foods like Hot Cheetos have deleterious flavor and texture additives).
