I think that the conversation about kink is super shallow. First, no distinction between kinks that explicitly are about abuse and those that are just silly.

I have to say that kinks and fetishes are representative of repressions and aren’t often that healthy. Although the vast majority of them create no harm and are means for individuals to navigate personal identity and desire in a world that is very often still hostile to explorations of gender, identity, sex and…

I mean, TGP knows full-well what it is. Hence how they reboot in a world-affirming way every season. Season 1 was a “gotcha” style sitcom with an essentially brilliant turn; season 2 is a scrappy underdog scooby-gang adventure comedy; season 3 will be something a little different.
