Well, there was that guy who raped a little girl in a casino bathroom, and his friend saw him then killing her, and said nothing. People are sick.

Yup. Personally, I think the Netflix series was biased as hell and that he’s guilty, especially after being informed of the other evidence that the documentary so conveniently omitted. HOWEVER, it was clear that the way the case was handled was fucked to the max and that was not a fair trial.

Rational people can find both things upsetting. Like Robert Durst being acquitted of a murder charge because the prosecution fucked up... I can agree that acquittal was the correct outcome, and still be dismayed that he is free. I can be horrified by the fucked up railroading of Avery and still find him creepy beyond…

Yup. People deserve justice, including a fair trial, even when they’ve done horrible things.

Seriously. that is not the kind of animal cruelty where someone lost their temper and harmed an animal, that is the kind where you have to be pretty fucked up to think it’s a fun idea to torture an animal to death.

And that weird illustrated re-enactment where he runs a female relative off the road and threatens her with a gun (even though it’s unloaded, I think?).

Every time people go on about Avery being innocent because he never hurt a fly I can’t get over the fact that he doused a live cat in fuel and tossed it towards a fire and laughed as it burned to death... and admitted it.
