Small nitpick: there’s no R in Tocqueville, and he came later. Other than that I completely agree.

Right? They could make a FORTUNE selling it to Netflix or HBO. And they should do it so people across the country can see it.
Or you could do both? You know, look for a little bit of nuance instead of harping on whatever political point you want to make while ignoring all the other factors that don’t suit your agenda.
scalpers are why Hamilton is so expensive to see. If Ticketmaster actually did something to prevent bots from purchasing tickets en masse for resale, regular joes could afford to see the show.
Please stay out of myself and KittensInBoxes discussions. If I wanted to speak to you I would have. There you go with the lies again. You did call me a rapist. And KittensInBoxes did not tell you to kill yourself, anywhere, period. I know what you claim to suffer from and if you end your life it has nothing to do with…
I completely agree. I’ve always thought they were both a little “off”. Honestly a lot of couples thrive when they don’t have to see a lot of each other. I feel any relationship (siblings, friends, couples) are going to struggle when they are around each other too much. “Space” can be a good thing.
Before we go any further. I have been advocating for not labeling Depp as guilty until more concrete evidence is released. Condemning him based on “he said/she said” is no better than accusing every Muslim as a terrorist or every man of being a rapist. I just get suspicious when someone pleads the fifth.
Obvious troll is obvious
I actually have grey temples now too, that should give you an idea of how young the rest of me looks.
I think it was a combination of the two. I think the casting of both Anakins and their dialog was ultimately what weakened the entire Prequel trilogy. I can live with Portman’s wooden performance, but the trilogy was centered around Anakin’s journey, he was just cringeworthy throughout. I like to think of what the…
as somebody who is 34 but consistently mistaken for a college student, I can tell you it’s got its ups and downs. I was still getting carded at R rated movies at 25, haha.
Different director. Maybe learning from criticism. I’d give him another shot provided it was a non-speaking role.
Eh, I’d be OK with giving him another chance (if it was offered, which I don’t think it will be).
I’ve never been a massive fan of Kevin Smith’s self-penned works, (but I quite like his self-deprecating humour), yet his work on The Flash this season just gone (Runaway Dinosaur) was, for me, the best episode of S2, so I’d be OK with him being handed the reins of an episode of The Defenders.
The Tonys this year were great. Vibrant, full of energy, respectful and somber about what happened in Orlando, diverse winners, excellent speeches, etc. I could go on and on but I think it’s been a while where I can say the Tonys has been the best awards show of the year so far.
That was my very first taste of Hamilton (I know, I know).
OH MY GOD YOU’RE MY NEW FAVORITE PERSON this is amazing
The reason we keep getting mindless summer blockbusters is because you (and everyone else) keep going to every single one. If you want better movies, you need to stop supporting bad ones. Hollywood will do whatever we pay them to do.
