I’m with you. None of us have truly seen the full extent of what he’s capable of as an athlete, sadly. His amazing potential has been impeded by a whole slew of problems for the past 15+ years.

I’m in the same spot. I’ve always rooted for Lamar, both on and off the court. Although it seems that this end was inevitable, this news is breaking my heart.

Here’s hoping he pulls through. So many tragic events in his life, it would truly be a shame if it ended like this. Always loved watching the guy play. Not many guys 6’10 and above had the handles and quickness he did.

Just wanted to point out that Lamar Odom is a heckuva basketball player. I realize he’s known to many due to his celebrity marriage — but NBA fans know him as a versatile big man, capable of playing all the front court positions really well. Lamar has a smooth jump shot, is an excellent passer and is solid rebounder.…

In case you can’t see the pic of Penelope getting hit by a car (it’s not showing up on my computer), here it is and it is fantastic. If this were my kid, I’d get this whole succession of pics framed. Bottom Left is priceless. What a cutie pie.

Remember, this is the same God who once asked one of is followers to sacrifice his firstborn as a token of commitment to him, only to be like “SIKe, ya good” right when said follower was drawing his knife.

This reminds me of the parable in which a drowning man is offered help by three successive sets of people, and he keeps denying them, saying that God will save him. When he inevitably dies, God asks him why he was such an idiot; He/She had sent all those people to help!

I have a friend who’s a people pleaser to the point of self-sacrifice. He’s 100% sincere. That’s the actual problem.

Except you’re not really “guilty” of any of these, because none of these are actually wrong.

And what about people who insult, ridicule and/or impugn others under the heading of, “Hey, I was just being honest?”
