I'm now in possession of admission tickets to both of the bar exams I applied for. I have a hotel reservation for the one out of state. This shit is starting to feel real folks. Anyone else starting to freak out about the bar exam?

@paperispatient: A little late to the party, but thank you so much for posting that. Such a great response!

I see this prosecutor's point. Parents should be held accountable in their children's education. I think jail time is going a little too far, though. Maybe a creative punishment could be drawn up. I'm not sure you could actually force parents to do anything, though, unless you were bringing charges of educational

I do divorces for a living. People get divorced for all sorts of reasons. I don't think it's fair to try and predict which couples will get divorced and why. In this day and age, we tend to rely a lot on numbers and statistics. Numbers and statistics are easy. But people are very complex and cannot be reduced to

I do check Facebook daily, but it's not the first thing I do when I get up (that's reserved for checking the weather). I guess I would be concerned that these girls don't care what pictures of them are out there on the internet. Potential employers are definitely checking Facebook these days before they hire people

Working in a legal office, we have the legal disclaimer attached to our emails. It's not too long and it's in smaller print than the body of the email. I know it can be kind of annoying, but we have to put it there! We put the same thing on fax cover sheets.

I think starting school later is a fantastic idea. There has been a huge local fight where I live the past couple of years over this very issue. Later start finally won out and they will be implementing the new later start in the 2011-2012 school year. It's hard enough to be a teenager when you're getting the right

I would really like some sleep. I dealt with the fireworks and didn't go yell at anyone (despite the fact they are illegal and scaring the shit out of my dog). Now there are air horns being used outside! If our city fireworks hadn't been rained out people might not be so restless, but I want some damn sleep. Ugh.

@jianna: We got rained out, too. Ghostbusters should cheer you up!

@Atomic B: I get those too. I think it's from all the Joss Whedon. But there is no such thing as too much Joss Whedon.

@NrthnLights: You're not alone! I'm bitter because other people are having noisy fun that is disrupting my studying and my dogs. And it's illegal. Sigh. The weather is supposed to be lovely tomorrow, I may take a break. Can you afford to take a break for just a day? It might be worth it.

@jummy: It gets a lot better, dear. It sounds like you guys had some complicated history, so it might take some time. You are a fabulous lady and that guy is missing out. Enjoy being single and eating cake!

@jummy: I'm sorry. Break ups suck even if they are for the best. Enjoy your cake!

@cinematheques: Woohoo! That is really exciting! When you are officially finished, you should have a celebration.

@Parenthetical: I have a bumper sticker that says, "I'm too poor to vote Republican."

@ElphabaSkywalker: That is fantastic insight! I couldn't have said it better myself.
