I just saw the commercial on real tv here. Ugh! So not looking forward to this.

I live in Wyoming, though not from here. This campaign should get interesting in the train wreck you can't look away from style. I'm also an election judge. The primary election should be fairly hectic because we are all thinking a lot of people will switch their registrations to Republican just to vote against Cheney…
Wow, sorry to hear that. Make sure you take some time for yourself, see a counselor if you think that helps. I've never been through a divorce, but I divorce people (among other things) as a living. It's probably going to get worse before it gets better, but hang in there. Sorry I don't have much helpful advice.
I concur! I was going to post the exact same thing (minus the FABULOUS gif).
During the presidential campaign I said that Romney was a terrible human being several (hundred, thousand) times. Living in an extremely red state, people would say, "Just because you don't agree with his politics doesn't make him a terrible human being." People absolutely did not get that he was a TERRIBLE HUMAN…
Summer was gone too quickly. It's already getting kind of cold at night. But what I'll miss most is half day summer Fridays. I didn't get all of them because I inevitably had court on a Friday afternoon. Can't we make half day Fridays a year round thing?
On this lovely Saturday night, I decided to go for a brisk walk. Turned into a 4 mile walk. It felt good to get out and exercise, I'm trying to be more fit. What really motivated me to keep going was the music. I really would like to get an armband thing to keep my phone in while walking/jogging. I'm afraid I'd…
I am nervous about the season finale of Mad Men. I just watched last week's episode last night. While I sort of saw it coming, holy shit! Tonight should be a good one.
For me, if I ever get married, I will keep my name. I'm published under my current name, established as a professional under my name, and will likely be a partner in my law firm in the next year or so. I definitely understand why people change their names, but it should be a choice and the fact that people believe…
I graduated in 2010. I work at a small private firm and do mostly family law, with some small criminal defense stuff and bankruptcy thrown in. I really lucked out and have gotten great benefits. They're even talking about "when" I become partner, not "if." Sounds like your job is awesome!
Somebody was doing this same thing in the middle of the night outside my house. My dogs went all crazy. Thought I was the only person this was still happening to.
I have two cats, Cooper and Kennedy, and two dogs, Kaycee and Sadie May. Sadie May came with that name and I never changed it. Cooper was originally Yoshi, but I changed it because I didn't like it. Kennedy is fairly obvious. And Kaycee was named after a city.
A sign of things to come. Making a mistake during your announcement of your presidential campaign has to be a sign of bad fate to come. Should make for an interesting campaign season.
Yes, you can send me a message! I would love to answer any questions you have.
@RaisinGirl is staying, dammit.: That was my motivation for awhile after high school and even for a little bit after law school (just graduated last May). But now that I have amounted to something and have a successful career, I would say my motivation has changed. Now it's more about me and less about other people.
I used to frequent a PP where I lived in California. Sadly, the state I live in now only has 1 PP. It's 3 hours away from where I live. And there is no other free clinic alternative. Keep on keepin' on PP.
@The_Psycho_Linguist: Where I live, renting is more expensive than owning. I just bought a house in November. My mortgage is $900/month. It is a 4 bedroom house in a lovely neighborhood. To rent the same type of house, I'd probably be paying around $1500/month. Some places have strong tenant's rights laws, which…
@Curt Cole: Congratulations on the new purchase! I closed in November and I'm loving it.
