My parents in raising my sister and I were not helicopter parents. But there is a large age gap between us and our little brother. My parents are increasingly pulling this helicopter parent thing on him, and it's turning him into a useless little child on most occasions. Maybe pointing out this article will help.

@Pandorasvoicebox: It's hard not to judge, but he may have good intentions. My best friend and her husband are 31 years apart in age, him older. They are a perfectly normal, cute, adorable couple. @lkqt: I think for people that use SNAP benefits, shopping at places like Whole Foods is completely out of the question. People who are obese and have little money don't have the luxury of making good food choices. Healthier foods are more expensive. I run into this same problem and I have a pretty decent job.

My law school class, which just graduated, was fairly evenly split between males and females. However, when it comes to those who have been offered/accepted jobs, there are definitely more men in that category than women. Happy birthday Jez! I think I've been reading the site for about 1.5 years and some days it was the only thing to get me through the day in law school. Now it will serve the same purpose studying for the bar. I love this site.

They have things called divorce calculators? Man that is depressing. I feel like if you were to go and do that and it said you were going to get divorced, it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
