I’d actually argue that New Yorkers are some of the nicest people I’ve met. And they are not fake-nice for the sake of keeping up appearances, like a lot of this country, which is important.

I mean, I’ve had issues going to my #2 comfort show, Parks and Rec, because it’s about government. Every time she mentions Hillary, I want to cry.

The only hope that I have that she might reign him in is rooted in the fact that she wants power and “success,” and to do that, she can’t destroy her own personal brand. Her target demographic is not uneducated rural America. It’s not even the educated, wealthy South. It is New York and Boston and D.C., where she

In terms of a daughter taking on the traditional FLOTUS role, that’s not without historical precedent. The thing making it creepy for me is their relationship.

Every time I see Madonna now, all I can think is “Wow, she is trying so so so so so hard.” It’s like the pop scene is slipping by her, and she’s desperately trying to hold on.

Ugh, things like the recounts and the push to have the Electoral College vote for Clinton are just making me feel worse, because they give me little bits of hope that are setting me up to be completely crushed all over again.

Yup, totally.

I imagine so. Their friends wouldn’t be the first people to put up with an old friend who has developed horrible political views.

She was very, shall we say, comfortable with her body and as far as shoots go, I would say it was fun.

Speaking as another former 24 year old no, it doesn’t help. But there are plenty of people twice her age who are just as ignorant and just as cringe-worthy.

Really? Because most of the people I know who voted for Trump are much older than her. And the vast majority of people I’ve seen on TV plugging for him are older. Her age makes her unique among your typical Republican talking heads, but that ignorance and narcissism is ageless. I don’t see much here that

I don’t think that it’s her age that makes her an idiot.

Yes. She knows. The circle she and Jared hang out with in NYC is predominantly liberal, and I’d be very interested to be a fly on the wall to hear what she says when she hangs out with those friends.

Nope, I’m starting to save up and praying that the bubble bursts a liiiittle bit or at least slows down so that I can eventually purchase. Even with renting, though, the benefits of living here faaaar outweigh the costs.

Oh my god, the sanctimonious “New York isn’t that great, you’re an idiot for paying those prices.”

I am pretty convinced that Donald Trump could stand in front of the nation and burn live puppies, and the people who voted for him would not care because it makes them “excited” that is he is “willing to take risks” to bring about “real change.”

I would really love for all of these officials to have to pay for a cremation every time they jack off.

YEP. Every time he’s popped back into her life after their initial relationship ended, he’s changed its trajectory, which is pretty significant.

They set it up to be Jess in the original show. It’s why they had him come back for a couple of episodes, to establish fix his relationship with Luke and establish that he had grown up.

No I thought that too. It looked more like “film backlot attempts Paris” than a quaint New England town.
