Seriously, the entire angle of Alicia betraying Diane made zero sense. From a legal standpoint it accomplished nothing - how could a ballistics test taken years later impact whether or not Peter wished to “lose” said bullets? And beyond the fact that it’s totally contrived that the prosecution brought in the one chick

that’s a good question, especially since records are probably non existent/fudged

Yeah, this was written and executed with a very heavy hand.

She’s still an asshole. Not for being oblivious about how privileged she is, but for writing that condescending crap that is so blatantly in the service of corporate America.

Sigh. Grrrr. Yes to everything everyone else is saying. I’m still bummed she didn’t end up with Finn Polmar. And what the fuck ever happened to Robin? And why did Lucca become Paula from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend? Cush Jumbo is great but her character apparently cares more about Alicia’s love-life and career than her own.

New CBS show this fall, “Better Call Kalinda.

Agreed. I wanted it to be an empowering “I’m choosing me” moment, and it really just wasn't.

I’m super sad the show is over, even though the finale wasn’t quite what I think we all wanted. I love that Regina Spektor song, and the way they used it felt super hokey. :/

They got so obsessed with mirroring the pilot that the entire episode didn’t make any sense. We barely saw Cary, they spent 7 years building Diane and Kurt to then destroy the couple in the last minutes with a story nobody cared about, Alicia is all of a sudden in love with Jason. I would have preferred for Alicia not

Really loved this show and was very disappointed in the finale. If they needed to show that Alicia could be ruthless to get what she wants, why did it have to be to Diane? Dumb.

same I felt that could have closed both their endings. Like if cary got a unmarked envelope with plane tickets and a accompanying note that said “miss you -k” something like that would’ve been nice.

I have been a fan of Marguiles as an actress since ER but man do I dislike her over the Kalinda situation. She was on a brilliant show that featured an outstanding relationship and for whatever personal reasons there were, Panjabi got booted and the show never recovered from the loss. It went from a show I watched

Two things I thought while watching the finale that I haven’t seen anyone comment on: 1) Alicia was suitably horrified when Grace decided to delay Berkeley for a year but she shouldn’t have been surprised, considering her daughter learned from the best how to stand by an undeserving man, and 2) the bald-faced jealousy

Welcome back (sort of?), Day Man!

My best friend bounces between being vegetarian and full vegan. He’s vegetarian because he practises Sikhism and sometimes cuts out dairy as well since he goes through periods where he’s very sensitive to it. I eat meat and its never been a point of contention between us.

You probably have, they just didn't bang on about it. :)

I’m from Los Angeles; I’ve known quite a few vegans. MOST vegans I’ve known are super chill about it. They know their diet is restrictive, and are very good about planning the meals they don’t eat at home. They don’t preach/bully.

i’ve been vegan my entire adult life, and the biggest difference between the two is vegan means no animal products at all, in addition to no meat. so no eggs, milk, cheese, gelatin, or their derivatives. some people extend this to clothing and other personal items (toiletries), some people just do it for health

Can we do this for 500 days like Gawker did with that vapid blonde lady? This seems way more fun.

Really? I mean, sure it would be painful in the short term, but we’re talking about a permanent solution to a problem that can really take over your life in a way it shouldn't. I’d think it would be absolutely worth it for multiple reasons.
