The Vibe Guy, Apparently
kitt222

Man, I'd hate to get pulled over driving my Vibe... That thing is almost built to carry things out of sight.

They sacrificed their cars in an effort to make their SUVs the best they can be. This is why GM owns the market, and the Explorer is now based on a Taurus.

And they'll sell. They'll sell well. Why? Because GM is the KING of the SUV market. They can do whatever they want and people will still buy them because, first off, they know what they're doing. Second off, they've done it long enough that their brand of SUVs are known to be great vehicles for what they serve.

I want to see this happen. Because I'm local. And because Escort.

I like the Tap Turn idea. I may try it out, as it fits my car. And I'm totally with you about the fried-egg look of amber bulbs in clear housings. The ones I have in my car have a blue-ish hue when off, so it looks blue instead of orange. More preferably to me.

Maybe not craziest, but certainly unlikely - Pontiac Vibe GT

With some clever wiring you could set it up on a switch

I think it's just a joke. Toyota wants to rid itself of the remnants of their GM partnership. They stopped marketing it so they could phase it out, hence why sales halted.

Any Mustang is a classic. Because Mustang. Current/last gen more so because of its live axle. Any "last _____" is always a collectible, which is not a bad thing. My guess as to the European eye-catching of the previous Mustang is attributed to the fact that, like most Americans, it is loud, brash, and seeks to grab

Of course they look alike - they share styling cues because that is the style right now. This is why I hate these "it looks like this it looks like that" BS that is the norm every time something mildly refreshed comes out that isn't unique, and when it is unique it comes off as ugly (see: Cherokee, Juke). Any car from

Wow, the similarities are uncanny... They're both red!

Now playing

Thanks for the good reply! I'm glad I didn't call you an asshole... That would have been an overreaction on my end. I like to keep the coolest head in the room when... well...

Wow, someone takes things too literally. Allow me to correct you: GM never had a Panther, so my statement is completely wrong to begin with!!!!11!

That Impala intrigues me... Especially since those things are pretty darn cheap on the used market. It's GM's Panther.

5.) Chevrolet Chevette

For five bucks it might be worth it to just hoon the thing to a nice, quick death.

That isn't what I mean. The Chevette was a bad car, but I'm not saying we should dig up the plans for the original '77 and start pumping them out again, Iron Duke and all. I'm saying that if it were to be remade today GM would pay much more attention to its execution. If they dug up the plans, scrapped them, then

I disagree. Not because of what the car was, but because what it is. I don't think there's a Jalop among us who would refuse a small, affordable, RWD 4-cyl hatchback with a stickshift and available wood paneling.

I'll give you $5 and a Snickers bar for the best one you've got.

They never left. Expedition and Suburban are still being made.
