That’s been a fan theory for decades now...as to the origins of the Xenomorph species and it’s spread.

I think they were more focused on the how the actors and crew looked vs the actual transformation. Would be cool if they released further info on it or added it to special features eventually.

Well, all the netting and other things wouldn’t be there usually either. So, it’s really a matter of set dressing at that point. Compare to that shot. It’s not identical to the plane they used, but gives you an idea of they usually look in most cases.

They did quite a bit to the one for the movie in comparison.

As others have said, the inside of the planes they use to simulate zero-g are usually just white padding and not much else. Looks like a giant plane shaped padded room, not the things you’re used to seeing/getting on.

But aren’t they still required the make up the difference as the tip quota wasn’t met? At least here in PA the employer is required to make up the difference if they don’t get to $7.25/hr over the course of their shift.

Actually looks like Chicklets...

Well, no one is arguing that he was elected. Everyone, even most of the GOP, is arguing that he’s not qualified and a total shit show. So, there ya have it.

That’d be 3 elections in a row, losing out on the previous two. No way, she’s done and running her again would just be a desperate move. I can’t imagine any political strategist actually okaying that decision and thinking she’d get anywhere.

Well, to be fair, Leach was pretty awesome on that issue as well.

It’s a valid point, and why I didn’t just include it as the sole reason for it not being terrible. As far Star Wars goes, that’s a tougher one as there were less theaters, nowhere near the level of hype as today, etc. etc. surrounding the originals. So, it’s a different species entirely as far as things go.

That said,

The amount of sales something generates is generally a good indication for how much folks like something. Usually anyway. A lot of people were looking for a switch away from the Will/Liz storyline.

Stanger Tides, $1b+ in worldwide gross. That’s a weird metric you have for failure there. Not to mention, the film didn’t suffer from the weight of the Will/Liz issues that dragged 2 and 3 some as well.

The first movie is definitely a classic, the second? Not great but still did service to the original in a few ways. After that? Well...things just got off and strange.

Let’s also consider that they forced the hand of the Empire to show their superweapon as well. Might not have been a goal, but knowing the thing is real and it’s size/seeing it in action would’ve been a massive advantage moving forward too.

Wow! Talk about a blast from the past!

Oh, mostly it was surreal. We’d go to head to the grocery and boom! Alligator in the driveway. Fishing in the lake out back? Nope, gator sunning in the lawn. Snakes, snakes, everywhere.

These places, the two I mentioned, have been devoid of jobs for 20-30 years or so. No one is even looking at them, their industries are dinosaurs (steel and coke production). The only way that companies would consider moving in are massive tax breaks, then they’ll cut and run as soon as the time runs on out them (it’s

No, the jobs are not coming back to places like Youngstown, OH or Monessen, PA (where people lapped up his talks of bringing jobs back). These are aging workforces, mostly abandoned towns, and workers who are lacking in the skills to do the jobs as they currently are. Automation has also outmoded many of their jobs as

You mean like the legistlation that just passed in NY for free public universities? Yeah, so many gimmicks. Putting up posters/images to back up what you’re saying on the floor is nothing new, tons of politicians do it.

They actually did do a remake, was a TV movie or direct to video thing. Haven’t watched it because the original is just too amazing to ruin with that slop.

Even if you just do Pennsic War, that can eat up your life too! Though, I wouldn’t change that for the world...
