Yep, I've been saying for years that they have it all wrong and they could make a ton of money if they just opened the doors to the fans and creative folks out there.

I'm in the same boat, though usually in the AMV category of things. I use a lot of things and even have made a few of my own mixes of songs when I've gotten the urge.

Oooooh, good one!

Why not just buy a PC and put Steam OS on it to begin with?

Not sure where you're from exactly, but if you're from the US...we've got plague too, though mostly in the Western US for some reason and poor sod in Chicago...

In 2012, they were pretty hard to find...if it said 2013, then I'd be suspect of that one.

American's have little respect for a lot of things, especially some segments of the population. This is really a cultural thing on a lot of levels. The Japanese have a much higher sense of community and family than the US does these days in many places. Sure, exceptions will be in both places, but overall Japan's

I was wondering the same thing. Until I saw the headline I didn't realize it still existed...not like it's been worth of watching for about 15 years now...

EDIT: n/m, didn't realize that was the full video which shows it in the beginning of it...but 98% of that is asymmetrical stuff

Really should fix that Disney thing there. It's not Disney, it's 20th Century Fox...

This isn't Disney, it's the BBC and 20th Century Fox. The author screwed that up big time.

Ah, okay. That does make quite a bit more sense there in the long run and the adornment is not ly to look "cool" but serve a functional addition as well.

Wonder if this was mostly used for tournament fighting or some other purpose. That said, it's not unusual to see odd things adorning helms from back then...could be part of a family crest or something as well.

Admittedly, that's a pretty small one. My wife has been collecting them for the past 30 years....she' got well over 1,000 ponies at this point and is valued somewhere in the $30-$35k+ range.

Welcome to Gawker...the ultimate recyclers of posts. Then again, if it wasn't Luke's by-line it could've been anyone...since they're getting the users to generate their own content and not get paid for it now.

While the Wii U can do 4K, I was more inclined to look at the fact that they'll like have a new console out in the 5 year time frame that will do native 4K for games. The fact that the Wii U can already do it, just a bonus right now, but I doubt it would be good for really complex games. Though, I'm skeptical since

Toys R Us also has games that are $14.99/$19.99 get a second for $1 and buy one game get one 40% off. Not a bad deal if you play it right at all. All systems at that, deal lasts through Saturday.

If you're going to talk Starbuck...hit the original...

Yep, there's actually two of them...both sitting next to each other. Interesting that they're the only ones visible. Could be others and the papers are just obscuring the view too.

You completely lost it when you said a game meant for parties would be better on a mobile device. Yeah, because there's never more fun than crowding around a 4-10" screen when you've got 5-10 people over...I'll take my 65" plasma over that any day for Party U.
