Depends on if they were made with the Commercial Chassis or after they stopped...

I was wondering this same thing myself.

There's no reason for an investigation at all.

That's not too surprising. I remember back in the 90's that Dallas actually had more snow for the winter than Philly did. Was pretty freaky but these kinds of things happen.

Welcome to Gizmodo, land of misleading and convoluted headlines...at least lately.

There is no priority given.

THX measurements are based on a slightly different set of criteria since they are looking to create a more theater like situation. We have a 65" and sit about 9ft away. We used to sit closer but for a lot of things the image was grainy so we moved back a bit.

You can actually just say "Xbox: Apps, Netflix" all in one shot...pretty painless actually.

Actually there's really nowhere that can be the "new China" not in terms of sheer volume of workers at least. Where else you can have factories that employ more people than most American cities? Foxconn's main plant has over 400,000 workers.

Considering the viewing distances needed for an 84" TV, you can have all the walls you want still be too close to the thing...

I spent $2100 about 18 months ago now on their 65" set, was new at the time, and not a single problem at all and it's on channels with logos all the time. Sometimes it's even on for 48-72 hours at a time without turning it off too...

I remember going in and seeing the size difference of my current 65" compared to a 50" TV...this is similar but at an obscene scale.

This is Gawker Media...anything to generate clicks. Who cares if it's accurate?! Most of the people they have writing for them aren't that great anymore either...

Yes, considering that most of the extremely popular anime in Japan features them prominently...it makes sense.

Confusing me with your details! Either way...not much to worry about to be honest.

Considering that many anime shows are based on school/slice of life, it's not surprising at all. The girls in these shows wear them most of the time and it's what distinguishes them from other shows, just as the actual uniforms do in real life.

The world isn't going to end, people will. The earth has been through hell and back over it's ~5billion year life so far. So until the sun goes supernova, it's gonna be here. People, that's another matter.

Yeah, just like how the US was totally shunned by the world for actually being the only country to ever use them?

If room and board is included then you have to factor that in as well. It would be next to impossible to maintain your own space while having 3mo+ of international travel on such a budget...

"In"? "Hearse"?
