What about 12? That's pretty...well...yeah.

Yeah, that's actually the one on the list that I didn't really feel needed it. It was a bit too subtle to work and seemed like an after thought. It was a well executed after thought, but out of those movies...it did the least for things.

Oh, I know that. It was in response to them saying that every 3D movie is horrible...which isn't the case in the least.

Guess you haven't seen How to Train Your Dragon, Toy Story 3, Avatar, Shrek4, Resident Evil and well...have to say it Piranha 3D (it's total cheese but they used it well!) then?

Sad thing is, at least 50% of the public doesn't see it that way...

With how things have been working on Gawker sites lately....not likely.

The fact that they were going to South Korea and not China makes this headline false and at best tabloid material...

You're implying they ever did...which I don't think they have

As an Anthropologist that has studied Mesoamerica fairly well, most of the prophecy is based on the fallacy of the Mayan prediction without taking into account the other 6 Baktuns in the cycle.

How will they choose who gets to see it? Really? Do you not know how things work that much?! Good lord...

Thankfully the believers of the 2012 prophecy can't do math, nor understand how Mayan calendars work at all...

No problems here about 50miles SE of Pittsburgh...

Definitely need to change the headline...Mulan, Beast, Pinocchio and Rapunzel are NOT villains. Sheesh...

Ravenstahl is the Mayor of Pittsburgh...just an FYI there...

Ah, okay. I knew it was some number of races.

One thing I have to say here, while I do agree with the article at hand...many people who are gamers or extremely hardcore into online play, as some have commented about, on XBLA, PSN, MMO's etc...tend to be younger. Not all, but many are...most of the males that are being talked probably have almost ZERO interaction

The contestants in Running Man were free if they managed to get through one show. There was that whole weird game show atmosphere too where people would win prizes, etc if the Stalkers they picked did well.

To be fair here, the only gladiatorial fighting in the Mad Max series was in Beyond Thunderdome in 1985. The Road Warrior and Mad Max had no mention of it in them. In Beyond Thunderdome it was used to settle disputes between two people. So while kinda similar, the purpose and reasons behind it are very different as

I dunno...I don't really think that La Femme Nikita or Leon: The Professional were really filled with that much cheese. I mean they had moments, but nothing near the level of 5th Element. The Messenger was kind of devoid of it too....

If they thought like that. The original Pitfall would have been plenty enough...
