This supposed “much too loud” sound apparently wasn’t loud enough for his own partner, who literally asked him where this phantom sound came from. I mean, I’m literally wearing over-ear headphones right now and have no idea what you’re talking about.

The main thing I’m gathering from this is that it comes off as a side project. I kind of don’t blame them for it, honestly, because there’s probably no point in remaking the first three TR games because of the issues mentioned, and there are a lot in the first three games. Also the jank of these games is probably a

I mean, developers were still figuring out controls in a 3D space in 96'.

Meanwhile, over on Xbox, its crusty af. It’s insane how overconfident MS was with their software lineup, especially after getting absolutely smacked in the previous gen. I can’t even recall the last Xbox exclusive title that made headlines (no not THAT game) in a good/fun way.

They’ve correctly predicted 11 of the last 20 Super Bowl winners.

You want me to address the thoughts in your head that weren’t hinted at in Phil’s statement, but instead some throwaway paragraph at the end of the article that isn’t actually based on anything?

That literally isn’t this.

Xbox fanboys are in shambles. Meanwhile, everyone who isn’t a fanatic about inanimate objects probably think Xbox should have been doing this for a while. Game Pass subscriptions + unit sales aren't going to recoup the costs of a decade long dev cycle that was Starfield.

Lol yeah, though probably not for long. I just signed up on Aftermath, and I’ve long had a Polygon account, so those are where I’m going to start using as my go-to’s for gaming coverage.

It’s a pretty informative article amidst the sea of dumb clickbait articles about lists of things, info-dump press releases disguised as articles, and articles were the writers are just bitter. Agreed.

Hot take, but I’m fine with this. Every SH game from here on out doesn’t need to have connections or drawbacks to the original 3.

Yeah, “your art’s fucking weird” seems about right for a high school(?) insult.

They literally tried to do this with Silent Hill Homecoming and it didn’t save that game from being panned. Why we doing this, Konami?’

Lol. One of the reasons I don’t mess with AAA games as much nowadays.

particularly around our biggest franchises like FC, like Madden, like Battlefield, like Apex

Looks like it’s gone now, less than a day later.

Typo’s still there, almost a day later lol.

That’s not what the article says lol.

The ferrystones in Dark Arisen weren’t rare. They can be regularly found at the black market vendor for like 3k gold. Maybe they’ve changed it in DD2, but in Dark Arisen you could also travel to the main cities with a ferrystone. So it’s not really as restrictive as the article says.

Is it so hard to believe gamers at large don’t care about JKR? Or whatever she’s up to/or doing? It’s pretty obvious why it did well, so sticking your head in the sand while claiming it whiffed with critics is a weird flex.
